Last opening day of Bollywood Actors

Here’s the latest update on the highest opening day collections of the Top 15 actors in the industry. With earth-shattering collections of Rs 44.97 crore onDay 1, Shah Rukh Khan continues to rule. Hrithik Roshan, whose last film ‘Bang Bang’ released on a holiday, but was affected by the clash against’Haider’, comes in at No 2.

The third and fourth spots belong to the two other superstar Khans. Aamir’s PK released on a normal working day, yet managed to collect Rs 26.63 crore. Salman’s Kick was the most affected film in the Top 5 list. His last release not only released on a working day, but also during the Ramadan period.

Varun Dhawan is the biggest gainer so far this year. The actor has managed to double the collections of his last release (Badlapur) with his latest runaway hit(ABCD 2). Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar are the other gainers in 2015.

Unfortunately, Ranbir Kapoor, who was recently voted as the most promising superstar among the younger generation of actors, is the biggest loser. His latest release ‘Bombay Velvet’ collected Rs 5.2 crore on its opening day, which is less than 25% of his previous solo release ‘Besharam’.

Biggest Gainers:

  • Akshay Kumar: Baby (9.3 crore) to Gabbar Is Back (13.05 crore)

Biggest Losers:

  • Ranbir Kapoor: Besharam (21.31 crore) to Bombay Velvet (5.2 crore).

  • Before Deepika and Rohit shetty came to the rescue, Srk was chasing Salman’s Ready and failed every time.

  • history will be created by dilwale
    srk highest opening 45 crore+varun highest opening day 17 crore= 62 crore

  • Who cares abt openings..i am an akkian and happy to see that akki is not stand in 1 cause when i returned frm theatre aftr watchng such movie which stands 1st i would be definetly felt cheated..we akkians have lots of reason to smile

  • Deepika gave a 179 crore grosser without SRK. But SRK hasnt crossed 125 crore without Deepika.
I wonder if Dilwale will cross 150 crore as no Deepika this time, only Rohit Shetty, Varun and Christmas to save the day.

  • Dil Dhadakne Do’s credit can’t be solely given to Ranveer Singh when the fact is Priyanka Chopra’s last releaseMary Kom collected 55crs,Anushka Sharma’s NH10 collected 35crs,Farhan’s Shaadi ke sideffects collected 35crs and Ranveer’s Kill Dil collected only 26crs!!

  • Hai kisi ke pas dum? Toh tod ke dikha Hny ka opening. . Hawa dhile ho jayega. . . And Dilwale release ke bad impossiblle. . Dilwale opening- 52 cr

  • everybody who confused on the title of bajrangi bhaijaan- what the deaf girl will call salman in her mind? he went pakistan in this movie and i am sure many pakistani called him bajrangi bhaijaan. dont you find any muslim who call you bhaijaan?

  • Hrithik’s Bang bang collected more than KICK n PK with normal ticket prices, clash with critically acclaimed haider on 3300 screens and they say salman, aamir are bigger stars!!!

MohenjoDaro might not be a huge opener coz of its limited appeal but if Hrithik signs YRF film with Deepika then wait for records to get shattered!!

  • What will be remembered more?

    King’s 1st Day 45 Crore or Aamir’s 770 Crore PK Worldwide.

    Everybody knows the answer.

  • Khans get tremendous publicity in media coz of their rivalry as for ex: Raees vs Sultan who knows could be a planned strategy by both Excel and YRF to gain publicity among the audience and one of them might move with their film that time but this “clash” thing has made both Sultan and Raees hot favorites.

Hrithik,Akshay films don’t get such benefits or could be coz both these actors don’t believe in PR publicity.

  • So prdp will release on 12th Nov day after diwali …..
    so 50 cr is possible….
    rip hny 1St day collection…

  • The first day collections are very important for a movie . According to me the next day after Diwali is the Best in terms of Business . HNY did a business of 44.97 CR and its total collections were only 204 CR . So according to me BB, PRDP and Dilwale will do huge business because it is simple these are festival releases . BB is releasing One day before Eid so 44 CR is not possible but it can do mammoth business on Eid Day . Dilwale is releasing on 18th so i don’t think it can collect 44 CR . The only movie that can challenge HNY’s Record this year is PRDP . It is releasing on 12th Nov next day after Diwali . So PRDP gets a 4 Day Weekend and can collect 120 CR+ in first four days . I am damn sure if Bang Bang would have been a solo release it would have collected 30 CR on 1st Day . The final collections would have been 200 CR . Nevertheless i am happy that Bang Bang’s opening day collections are higher than PK and Kick . Bang Bang is Hrithik’s Highest Opener and i hope that Mohenjo Daro breaks this record . It is great to see Hrithik on the 2nd Spot . HR Rocks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hrithik shouldn’t be at No.2.
According to BOI/trade, Bang Bang opening day was 22.07 crores.
    HNY trade: 178 crores.
    HNY producer figure: 204 crores.

Both kings of manipulation at the top. ?

  • It feels like bb will cross 40 crore day 1,, no chartbuster song but one can feel the positive energy around the film there are some other factors which might work wonders for the film like no big movie since pk
    family entertainer
    festive release
    2 week open run
positivity about script unlike other salman’s films
    big director
last but not least SALMAN KHAN

  • @ Indicine Please make an article on Dil Dhadakne Do and Hamari Adhuri Kahani . Both these movies are out of theatres . Post the Total Collections with their Verdicts .

  • Prdp weekend collection will be
1st day – 50 cr day after diwali (highest ever)
    2nd day – 40 cr holiday
    3rd day – 35 cr holiday
Total weekend – 125 cr highest ever
    4th day – 35 cr Sunday
    extended weekend – 160 cr
    1st week – 225 cr
    2nd week – 80 cr
    3rd week – 30 cr
    lifetime – 350 cr

  • Another useless article. What about overseas and worldwide ranking
Ever since pk released, Indicine never posted top 10 overseas list article which was always updated upto hny release with every big film.

@babaji bang bang was a holiday release with officially 4300 screens, if believe official figure than why not official screen count. Regarding kick it was biggest opener last year considering all facts while PK is only films which not having masala & action sequences, also not a single song was chartbuster of pk which was in case with hny(manwa page),bang-2 (title track and mrharban) & kick (jumme ki raat). Both kick and pk was non holiday release also. At the end pk collected almost double of what hny & kick collected worldwide and more than 2.5 times bang bang with trade figures.

  • @sanu hny highest day collection 37 cr as per trade already beaten by pk 3rd day collection with 37.5cr. ROFL.
Regarding fake official figure will be easily broken if any film had full fledged masala Zoner release in diwali, even dilwale team can break that figure on non-holiday on 18th (ofcouse with manipulation)lol.
