Krrish 3 has just completed a historic first week at the domestic box office. The film opened well during the pre-Diwali period and then came into its own Monday onwards. Overseas too the Hrithik Roshan starrer has done very well for a science-fiction film.
Krrish 3 has grossed 251 crore worldwide, making it the second fastest to cross the 250 crore mark after Chennai Express. Breakdown below.
- India Gross: 166.42 cr net + 49 cr entertainment taxes = 215.42 crore approx (Also Read: Difference between Net and Gross)
- Overseas Gross – 36 crore
- Worldwide Collections – 251.42 crore
The film is Hrithik’s first 200 crore worldwide grosser and should easily cross the 300 crore mark too. It has an outside chance of going on to be the second highest grosser of all-time ahead of 3 Idiots (390 cr), but the record of Chennai Express which grossed Rs 420 crore worldwide is out of reach – unless the second weekend is record-breaking.

The Ra One audience verdict is quite clear by now. The film has been rejected by majority of the audience. After a strong extended weekend, the SRK-Kareena starrer crashed on Monday, fell further on Tuesday and Wednesday and had poor collections on Thursday too.
First day of the second week is expected to be around 3 4 crores at best.

Why are srk fans now quoting BOI?
At the time of CE, when others were pointing to BOI, they said it was outdated, ridiculed it, and now all of a sudden what happened?
There were reams of lengthy posts written how bad BOI was, how their articles were old, how they have not updated their website, and now why turn face?
If you believed then in producers figures, then you believe now too.

@yash i am seeing continuously your comments to prove that K3 hasn’t beaten CE first week records but do you know you failed BIG time, if you want to take just Hindi collection of K3 not dubbed than why are you taking paid preview in first week, first week collection of CE officialy is about 149.5cr and by including 6.75 cr preview collection becomes 156.25cr, so first full seven days collection is less than K3 Hindi first week collection which is about 152-153cr, so its better to accept truth rather than for giving unnecessary excuses.
@nipun you are right if we count Domestic collection than it should include Dubbed version too. but when we are talking about bollywood than for box office we consider only Hindi that’s y Indicine point to add Dubbed figure not making any sense, i will give you an example Zanjeer remake was made in Telugu and Hindi language, down south Telugu version become average or called Semi Hit ut Hindi version is Disaster, so for Bollywood it called as Disaster but if you add collection from Dubbed+Hindi than in that case we can called movie a Flop not disaster……in the case of Ra1 & Don2 we not included dubbed collection for Domestic Boxoffice report. so it is Rule and can’t be change for a specific movie. you can see when srk fans complaining abt Ra1 & Don2 collection which not including dubbed collection from Indicine, admin hasn’t given any reason till yet as they are caught in their trap.

1. do you agree that Highest opening day record is still on the name of ETT (30.75cr)
2. agree that CE never achieved 100 cr in three dyas as per BOI ce weekend is 87.08 (ans for them who are asking BOI always given figures like 30.25,30.5,30.75 kindas) and including preview is 87.08+6.25=93.33 cr
3. Agree CE first week collection is 139cr and 145 cr if includes paid preview.
4. Agree Ce lifetime is 208 cr Domestic and $18Million overseas (110-112) and worldwide 380cr.
5. Agree 3I record worldwide collection record is still unbroken
for me i agree with all as I always trust BOI and will trust also at the time of my fav Aamir & Salman movies D3,p.k.,jai ho and Kick andfor others too.
but if any of you not agree for any of these point than you have no right to bark here about manipulation of k3 figures whether its for about 10% or 40-50%.
for those who want to bash BOI did you ever seen on other sites that they give collection of each day just on next day and it will remain constant till last, is it possible in the Country like of India when there is lot of place for corruption,manipulation and lies. Boi quoted at first CE weekend is 86cr but after when they recieved actuals with proper territorial breakdown they give it is 87.08. they always given territorial breakdown of agree big movie for its first week,second week,third week and sometime final collection which i have never seen on any other sites. and trust you will find actual figure like.01,.08,.15,.22 etc range not on round figure when they publish final collection
note:- they publish first week territorial breakdown of any movie not just end of first week but they publish on end of second week when they collected actual with no doubts, for K3 if you want to see first week territorial breakdown just visit on next thurday or firday means on 14-15 than you will get breakdown from 01-07th nov of K3 collection.
so better speak when you have proper reason to bark for something and if not just be silent.

I haven’t comment during ce box office thread here in indicine. but I m against BOI’s commentary and lame excuses.They said if ce would have released without paid preview it could broken 1st day record of ett. Is this rocket science? Ce Sunday collection was 31.5 cr which was better than ett first day collection but they never highlighted as a single day record. But I appreciate them for not underreporting. Here I m not supporting or hates anyone. But I hates people who reports false collection. It’s lost the beauty of box office. Check my comments on different thread I always placed hritik on 3rd place after srk and Amir and ahead of salman in terms of popularity with valid reason. but I am damn sure dhoom 3 will shattered all records by big margin according to me it will make collection in range of 300 to 325 crores or even more because the response among the people about dhoom 3 is phenominal it will break 226 crores collection of chennai express within 10 days and rest will ve history

@sakhi, even if there is diff of few lakhs it matters, bcuz CE beat ett by few lakhs for opening day, so the likes of you shdnt raise objection when diff come up for other movie, kyonki chori ek rupay ki ho ya sau, chori toh chori hoti hain. And there is no alternative for people who believed production house fig earlier, you have to accept their fig now too.
