Krrish 3 has collected Rs 22.45 crore on its second day at the box office, including all regional versions of the film. The drop in business from its first day was around 12%. The two day total of the Hrithik Roshan starrer now stands at Rs 47.95 crore net, which is excellent for a film released during the pre-Diwali period.
Day 1 – 25.5 crore, Day 2 – 22.45 crore. Total – 47.95 crore.
The drop in business from Day 1 is as follows:
- Mumbai – 8%
- Delhi/UP – 13%
- East Punjab – 17%
- Central Province – 29%
- Central India – 22%
- Bihar – 8%
- Rajasthan – 16%
- Andhra/Nizam – 14% (Hindi version only)
- Mysore – 9%
- Tamilnadu – 12% (Hindi version only)
On Sunday, morning shows were off to a good start. Occupancy for the noon shows were pretty good too, but business could witnesses drops in the evening as its Diwali today. Night shows likely to pick up as tomorrow is a holiday.

@ arjun is krrish really that weak that I gets effected by a little negativity by some fans. People were spreading way more negativity when ce came out but it didn’t stop it from become the highest grosser. krrish is even praised by critics so yeah. if krrish 3 does well on Monday and on ward then it might have chance of crossing 200cr or even more.

and as I said Indicine even had day wise circuit figures which would exactly add up to the total.
and unlike here where circuit wise figures unavailable and early estimates of Indicine also widely different from their final figures.

The Krrish 3 weekend was hit by the Pre-Diwali dull period. The film grossed 34 crore nett in its first two days and Sunday will be down a bit as Diwali Puja hit business in North and Central markets by around 15-20% though Mumbai and South are better. The Sunday collections will be in the 14-15 crore nett region which gives the film a weekend of around 48-49 crore nett for its Hindi version. The Tamil and Telugu version grossed another 4.50 crore nett approx.
This is the first time that a big film like this has been released Pre-Diwali so there is nothing really to compare with so it will be the Monday and Tuesday business that will actually tell how good this weekend actually is or actually is it good?
The next two days will decide whether this near 50 crore nett number is huge or the film lost momentum with a pre-Diwali release despite the pre-release hype.

@HRK – look, in film business nothing is predictable.. in case of CE the negativity didnt affect it.. but also remember ra.one, how badly the negativity affected it.. even now such is the negativity against ra.one that even with the trade declaring it a hit, none of the public is ready to accept it.. people also consider ra.one as one of the worst films of recent times.. all u srk fans dont downgrade a film unnecessarily.. remember what goes around comes around.. K3 is an outstanding movie n the best superhero movie ever made in india

Lol height of manipulation. Besharam had excellent accupency on its first day but could not cross 20 cr. but k3 touch 25 cr when accupency has dried post afternoon and in some places in north there was no show after 6 pm. It cud be still acceptable if collection was 20 cr but 25 cr!!! What taran komal and some cheap tradewalas r trying to prove. There is no surprise if today they exaggerate 35 plus. My today’s prediction is 23-25.
