As a special gift to children, who have made Hrithik Roshan’s latest superhero outing a huge success at the box office, the makers of the film have decided to offer discounted ticket prices on Children’s Day – which also happens to be a national holiday for Muharram.
Ticket prices will be slashed by more than 40% for children below the age of 14.
A source from Filmkraft Productions tells us “We have sent a request to all our distributors to slash the ticket prices of Krrish 3 on November 14th (Children’s Day). Cinemas across the country will be offering heavy discounts on tickets for children below the age of 14. This offer is applicable for the dubbed versions too. We hope that kids who loved the film will watch it again. For those who haven’t, tickets are much more affordable now”
It’s a smart marketing tactic from the makers, as parents will have to accompany their kids to theatres, resulting in more revenue for the film. Also, there is enough time for schools to plan movie-outing for kids.
Not too long ago, Red Chillies Entertainment also had a similar offer for Shahrukh Khan’s Chennai Express. On Raksha Bandhan, there was a ‘buy two get one ticket free’ offer that helped business pick-up quite significantly at multiplexes.
Hrithik is the bravest actor in the country. Srk fans talking about manipulation??? Their idol bought best actor awards for himself in 1994,97,98, 2010. He even bought a critics best actor award in 2000 bcoz hrithik mania was sweeping the nation. I won’t have any issues with d3 crossing k3. Atleast aamir isn’t a manipulated star.
Srk owes his success to yrf and karan johar. Hrithik worked with yrf in dhoom2 and all of us what the result was. And now aamir hopefully will continue the trend with d3. Had krrish3 or dhoom3 released on 15th aug, chennai express wud have finished at 165 crs. The ‘king’ got lucky this time.

There were no free tickets available. They withdrew their offer it seems. They should have at least informed the general public about it. These article is very misleading, kindly re confirm and remove it.
