Salman Khan’s Kick has completed its second week at the box office as the 4th highest grosser of all time, behind Dhoom 3, Krrish 3 and Chennai Express. The film has collected more than 50 crore in Week 2, taking its India total close to 215 crore net. Kick now needs around 12 crore to beat the lifetime collections of Chennai Express, which released during Eid last year.
The film should finish with lifetime business of around 235 crore net.
Kick has also fared very well at the overseas box office. The 14-day business of the film has crossed the 11 million mark (67 crore+). The worldwide gross stands at Rs 348 crore. It will just fall short of the 400 crore mark.

I think entertinment tax of kick will be net earning of entertainment in ndia 66 crore. akshay is good actor he needs to concentrate mind in holiday kind of movies.

The emperor khan. 1 over 200, 1 around 200, 5 100s, 4 over 140. 6 Blockbusters back to back but one. His flop is Rs. 112 crores. Which is blockbuster for others.

Entertainment will surely have its affect on Kick, as unlike OUATIMD, the reviews are coming in good for the movie, and overall there is a positive air about the movie.
Will have to check out in theatres this weekend. :)
Chennai Express fans are desperately praying that Kick collections are stopped, and it seems their prayers are answerd somewhat.
Its highly likely that it remains below 400 and be the 3rd highest grosser worldwide for a bollywood film!
That’s a shame considering Salman’s fans crying huge that it would be breaking the Chennai Express’s collections. The final collections would just be around 10-15 crs more than CE (235-238cr.) ! and, this is again disappointing, releasing with 600 screens more, too less competition (had CE got this much, 2 open weeks, it would have definitely added 10-15 crs. more).
Kick is also likely to lose some distributors their money as it needed 250 cr. atleast for the distributors to attain their profit!
Well, It would be the 2nd highest grosser ever in India. But, that is no big a mean feat considering the above factors. Cheers for that, though!

All SRK fans, Kick released on more screens than Chennai express because exhibitors know Salman is much bigger star than your SRK.
And collection dropped only 41 lakhs from Wednesday to Thursday…..are you kidding me ??? Everyone has stopped giving daily updates along with BOI just to calculate and see how much it needs to cross CE and then giving their figures all together.
And K3 never crossed 200 crs despite taking all the regional versions together.
