Salman Khan’s Kick has exceeded expectations, as the film has collected around 27-29 crore on its first day at the box office. A few centres have under-performed due to various factors like ticket prices, Ramadan period, as well as rains that have lessened but continued to impact business in circuits like Mumbai, Mysore, Tamilnadu and Kerala.
Approx first day figures: Kick has collected around 5.7 crore from Delhi/UP, 2.8 crore from East Punjab, 1 crore from C.I, 1.43 cr from C.P Berar, Rajasthan contributed 1.89 crore, Andhra/Nizam 1.7 cr, Mysore circuit is coming around 1.5 cr. The biggest circuit of them all, Mumbai, has been a mixed bag. Collections from a few centres from Gujarat were much lower than Dhoom 3 and Chennai Express. Estimates suggest the film has collected around 8 cr in Mumbai.
Business from the above mentioned circuits total to Rs 24 cr, the other smaller territories should collect between 3.5-4 cr taking the first day to somewhere between 27-29 crore net.
For a film released on a normal working Friday, on around 5% higher number of screens as compared to Salman’s last release Jai Ho, with Ramadan impacting business in muslim-dominated areas, the first day business of Kick is outstanding – probably better than the start that Dhoom 3 took in December last year.

yes the movie was entertaining but uneven….
it is less a movie and more a celebration of salman on big screen and his being human…
personally i didnot like the movie…

almost 30 cr on non holiday that is called real star power if salman has been in dhoom 3 imagine the opening salman + highly popular franshise

Dhoom 3 released on less screens than kick collected record 36 cr and kick has collected 27.90 cr how is kick performance better than dhoom 3. Jai ho released in 4000 screens collection 17 cr. Kick released on 4300 screens collection 26-27 cr lol this is salman power. 10 cr increased from jai ho bcoz of good songs, trailer , promotion and dont talk pre eid. From ek villain to hskd all released in pre eid and did good business. Pre eid is not dull like pre diwali which effected krrish 3

Looks like Dhoom 2 and Dhoom 3 villains are praising KICK (even may called Dhoom 4) Villain Cum Hero.
I expected it done like same Ek tha tiger has 33 Cr on first day collection in way back 2 yrs . by considered holiday released then kick has 4700 screens release 1000 more screens than epic dhoom 3 release .@indicine u said its better than d3 businesses ???? d3 also was non holiday release if we considered Muslims boycotted this film due to salman s closed to our honourable prime minster .and also ramdan period but still 33cr it must has to cross .

kick will break chennai express and k3 .but for film like this it won’t beat masterpiece which called as dhoom 3 .

These are definitely not record breaking collections. Dhoom3 was released on a non holiday and managed 36cr. Failing to even beat CE day one collections with more screens and hype. Let’s see what it collects on eid day. I thought salman would manage 100 cr in 3 days at least
