Karan Johar has signed Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma for his next directorial venture titled ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.
In an exclusive interview with Bombay Times, the director of ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ said “I had developed a film for over a year-and-a-half that needed another 3-5 months of screenplay work. That film is still going to be made and I will make it immediately after Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. That film is tough and a challenging narrative and is about a husband, wife and a daughter and I have already cast the husband. But when I went to New York, this film suddenly came to me. I think it is about getting out of Mumbai. I wrote it in just 30 days. I have never done that before.”
On casting Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, Johar said “I had got to know Ranbir and Anushka really well while shooting Bombay Velvet (Anurag Kashyap film). And I saw their chemistry. Bombay Velvet had tapped into an unusual part of their chemistry. This film will tap into another unusual part of their chemistry”
Karan has also said that ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ is not a conventional love story or a love triangle. In Johar’s own words “It’s a film that dwells deeply on relationships, heartbreaks and how love completes you, defines you and yet leaves you wanting for more”
‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ releases in theatres on June 6 2016.

Ash and Ranbir – no way – I could never tolerate her ever – watche DEVdas for Madhuri and SRK, Dhoom2 for Hrithik. Rani, Madhuri and Sridevi movies are still worth watching.
I liked soty only because of kjo but interestingly the chemistry of those leading stars were so good but the story lacks too much for which reason it couldn’t be a huge hhi.but still it considered as a semi hit.
@sky,as expected only sallu/amir fans only can hate KJO.HIS films are far better than overrated rdb,Mela,d3,mp,DG,talash.so why you’re hating?if you can tolerate bg,dabang,ett,jai ho,ghajini like craps then you shouldn’t even to dare to go against KJO movies.BTW KJO is never interested in amir,even our complan star gave a statement in kwk–he became to know KJO in recent 2-3 years,what can be a bigger home other than this,LOL?

What I like in kjo film a potato mashed film,in India where girls are supposed to married in 20s our lead heroine were remain unmarried by knowing that his love married with other girl and having a child for 9_ Years,when she agree to marry with some one,our king enters and he who giving dialogue like Pyasr ek baar hota h,but he again fall in love with Kajol.Common man is this a story.Its about KKHH.
K3g is good film no doubt when it released but now one see that film it was too over the top sentiments,long dialogue etc.KANK was tortuous I myself seen that film first day first show by wasting my pocket money.And the rest MNIK (best film ever for u) a poor over the top film by making a abnormal man hero with totally dramatic way, it was a good effort by team but I didn’t like that film so what can u do,I know many srk fans who also not liked mnik or those who likes they also not ranking that film in STK best.Talking about RDB,tzp,3i,dch kind film.Beta Teri samajh se oare h.You should watch epic jab tak h mojo,best action movie fon2,best adventure cartoon film ra1,best comedy film HNY.it suits you.
