A day after Shah Rukh Khan said his upcoming film ‘Raees’ won’t clash with Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil, the director of the film, Sanjay Gupta, has reconfirmed that the film will arrive on the same date as previously announced.
In a series of tweets, the director said:
“Dear All KAABIL releases on Jan 26, 2017. Absolutely no change in date. Hope this clears all unnecessary rumours.”
“Dear SRK fans There is no need to get hyper abusive. Calm down. Even I like him & will watch Raees whenever it releases.”
“SUPERSTARS get great openings irrespective of Public Holidays. Look at what happened this Wednesday.” he said.
Meanwhile, we’ve been informed that Rakesh Roshan has decided to stick to the Republic Day 2017 date, even if Excel Entertainment decide to release ‘Raees’ on the same day.
Those asking, Hrithik's Kaabil has not been postponed. Still scheduled for 26 January 2017.

Celebrating Eid with the media yesterday, SRK spoke for the first time about averting the clash with Sultan and why they decided on releasing Raees next year.
“First of all, we weren’t ready with our film (Raees). I haven’t still given the last shot of Raees yet. We will shoot that now. Secondly, Salman and I spoke about it and we realised that we are at least 10,000 screens short of accommodating two films on the same day. Hence, we decided to come to a later date”
“We were looking at a number of dates to release the film this year but we could not because all of them were occupied. It would make no sense if we averted one clash for another one. It would mean like going out of the frying pan to the fryer. Then we decided on January 2017 as the release date”
“I knew Hrithik’s film was coming but he had not started the film then. We talked to Hrithik and Riteish (Sidhwani), Farhan are meeting him and Rakeshji on 11th or 12th this month. Then they will finalise on what’s to be done” Shah Rukh had said.

Srk has no all time highest grosser of bollywood though he did with CE which lasted for 2 months & it was 3rd highest grosser of the year followed by D3 & k3. So officially he has no highest grosser of all time.

He took 13 long year to break HAHK but he will not able to break BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN record in future. When 200 cr is out of reach with 2 multistarrer hny & dilwale how can he go beyond 300 cr with solo ones.
A useful advice for srk if he is so desperate to reach 300 cr club he should act as father or grandfather in Salman movies otherwise 80 cr at the most 100 cr is beyond his reach.

FRYING PAN TO THE FIRE….that speaks a lot. SULTAN was considered frying pan and rest of the movies as fire for RAEES by SRK. This shows he is unsecured. Common man, are you deaf to all media analysis about you – there is nothing more for you to prove!
Do some good movies dude. Don’t do movies only for numbers. Don’t look at SALMAN & AAMIR’s collections; they are at the top of the chartbox now, but you were once too. Things change – that’s inevitable.
I understand you have pressure. You need to consider your fans huge expectations. But there are profound scores of neutral audience like me who watch movies for the movies’ sake and not the stars. Consider them too. On top of that, in few decades, our generation will be gone and you won’t have die hard fans like now. Let the coming generation remember you for good movies.
Comments aside, won’t we ever see you doing something hatke like 3 idiots, bajrangi bhaijaan, taare jameen par, a Wednesday(…and the list goes on)?

They both were top 2 stars once upon a time and they deserve a solo release to bounce back. They both have had more than enough of facing clashes in last few years. In 2014 hrithik faced clash with Haider and this year he is facing clash with chustom. SRK faced clashed In 2012, 2015 and this year. So I can’t support this clash.raees should postpone to post IPL period next year. It is a best release period unless there is a gobar movie releasing. What say everyone? Thumbs up if you agree.

According to some Loongiwalas Eid guarantees blockbusters/200cr/even Rajpal yadav can give blockbusters on Eid. A simple question for them…then WTH your king runs away from Eid???
A certain star need to face a clash because he has been only enjoying solo releases since 2010 after getting defeated by akshay and ajay in 2009 clash. No need to guess who I am talking about. Even with solo releases and national holiday, he can’t break opening records. So come on, someone please clash with him and show his fans their aukaat who bash other superstars all the time.

First of all I am extremely angry with srk because he is highly experienced actor .
He has faced many clashes and has won almost all ( except bm ) so how on earth could he postpone Raees to 26th January next year … how could he even think about it … Raees first schedule was completed last year and there was 100 % confirmation that Raees will come on Eid 2016 but when sultan makers confirmed that they will never back off from Eid weekend even if three Raees release on This date … so the makers of Raees shamelessly made am excuse that the shooting is not completed yet !!

Trailer of Mohen ka Daroo was looking like some wannabe B grade historical movie. It looked more like a bhojpuri movie than real classical historic movie like baahubali. So small stars like jadoo boy should make way for srk. SRK deserves a solo release. If they still want to be stubborn and clash with raees, then I am sure they don’t care about their movie at all and they will be responsible for thexample below average performance of kaabil. So only raees next Republic day.
