Sultan is the highest grossing film in the first 2 days at the box office. The film had a big advantage over the other releases with two partial holidays. The first day was initially declared a holiday, but with Eid getting delayed, Wednesday became a restricted holiday in parts of country.
On the second day, Eid was celebrated, but again it was not a full holiday. This meant that the advantage for Sultan over the first two days was around 20% of its collections. So even without the partial holiday advantage, Sultan would have comfortably crossed the 55-60 crore mark, which is huge.
FAN had one partial holiday, while the opening day of Rocky Handsome was a national holiday for Good Friday. No other film got holiday advantage.
