Sultan is the highest grossing film in the first 2 days at the box office. The film had a big advantage over the other releases with two partial holidays. The first day was initially declared a holiday, but with Eid getting delayed, Wednesday became a restricted holiday in parts of country.
On the second day, Eid was celebrated, but again it was not a full holiday. This meant that the advantage for Sultan over the first two days was around 20% of its collections. So even without the partial holiday advantage, Sultan would have comfortably crossed the 55-60 crore mark, which is huge.
FAN had one partial holiday, while the opening day of Rocky Handsome was a national holiday for Good Friday. No other film got holiday advantage.

Unfortunately, On the release day itself, sultan movie got leaked over the internet. It’s a big hit with the film, and no one expected this. As a result, film crew thought they are going to face massive losses, but nothing happened to the movie. Since it is the power and craze of Salman Khan in the market. On the occasion of Eid, the film got released all over the world in 5400+ theaters. So huge collections expected earlier but later movie leak made producer feel nervous but by the end of the day, results were satisfactory.

Guys agreed salman khan is in his prime time of his carrier , but tell me all sk fans is money everything ?? Srk is far ahead of acting ability as compared to salman khan and don’t forget one thing only chennai express was the first film to best 3 idiots collections of around 201 crore after 4 years where other films failed so records are meant to be broken and they will be broken ..and guys u should know srk and sk are now like brothers so respect each other :))
