Quite shocking as the music was popular and most Vishesh Films like Jannat, Raaz – The Mystery continues, opened to good numbers.
The failure of Jashn, which has opened to around 15% collections, just goes to show how under-rated Emraan Hashmi’s star power actually is. When Emraan has worked with the Bhatt’s, their films invariably open to a good response!
With poor word-of-mouth and below average reviews, future looks bleak for Jashn, which also stars Anjana Sukhani and Shahana Goswami. After The Killer and The Train, Jashn is director duo Raksha Mistry and Hasnain Hyderabadwala’s third flop in a row.
