Jai Ho has done well on its 9th day at the box office, with net box office collections of around Rs 4.5 crore. The film is steady in mass-circuits, but multiplexes in cities (where most films tend to pick up on Saturday night) were dismal.
Today, the film has picked up by around 20-25% with multiplexes too faring better compared to Sunday. Jai Ho is likely to collect around 6-6.5 crore today to take its 10-day total to 102 crore net.

It is moronic to compare three biggest releases (Eid, Diwali & Christmas) with non holiday release. CE, Krrish 3 & Dhoom 3 had major holidays whereas Jai Ho got zero holidays except regular weekends (Republic Day fell on a Sunday). Let any other actor score so much with so many factors against the movie with non holiday release then we will see. I agree Jai Ho is below expectation for a Salman starrer (even for a non holiday) but the major factors were non holiday release, some negative vibes about Salman due to Saifi event & Meeting with Modi plus the leading lady n music had no contribution to pull the crowds !!!!! Jai Ho !!!!!!

i think people are here not understanding the term “wom” in business or trade sense, here wom relates for a movie which help to audience to come into theaters, no doubt Jai Ho was a good film but you can see on the reviews of many fans is “movie could have been better,direction is poor, music was not good, ott action scenes etc.’ so when you going to define a movie these so called minuses affect the audience to watch into theaters because present time we have so many sources to watch movie without going to theater and the wom Jai ho got by worked for people who not watched movies is “koi nahi ghar par hi dekh lenge”. so this make to restrict the business of Jai Ho, so the way movie is trended is the sign of negative wom for trade but generally speaking movie got positive wom but couldn’t capitalized for better collection. Still jai ho is a under performer but not a Flop, its verdict would be-Above average/Semi Hit.
