Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has said that the 100 and 200 crore clubs does not excite him as he manages to do four films a year quite comfortably. During times when most actors struggle to complete even one film a year, Akshay says he even gets time for holidays after completing 4 films.
He has completed the entire shooting schedule of Neeraj Pandey’s Baby in just 32 days!
“I do four films in a year. And I do that quite easily and I get a lot of holidays. I always reach on time on sets. So why shouldn’t I do four films? I like to do new things in films. I don’t look out for 100-200 crore clubs. I love to take on risky stuff that I see as creatively satisfying.”
The actor who was once known for repeatedly working on similar films, has decided to take on riskier films like Baby and Airlift.
“I don’t want to do only hero films… I have to change myself because I get bored. I just can’t do films like ‘Rowdy Rathore’ again and again. There are films like ‘Gabbar’, ‘Baby’ and ‘Airlift’ where I will be seen in different avatars,” he said.

But there is surprise in the movie in the form of none other than Akshay kumar… he makes fun of himself in a commendable way and shows y any other actor can’t match him in this genre

Akshay Kumar is the most disciplined actor in Bollywood..yes it is a fact some of his movies are disappointing in terms of content but we must also realise that he had OMG, Special 26 and holiday kind of content oriented films year after year..his upcoming projects look very bright and I won’t be surprised if he manages to challenge the top 3 in 2015

Akki doesnt care about 100/200 cr or stardom becuz he only cares about money and is greedy since his producers are losing but he doesnt care!

i don’t respect akshay kumar as great actor or so. he is very ordinary and average actor. I fail to understand that why so many people go ga ga over this crap actor??? except for S.26, OMG, Holiday he hasn’t done any great content oriente movies. he does 4-5 films since he started his career and most of them are crap and garbage. I just find it ridiculous that they consider him as versatile actor. he mostly does action or comedy movies and they are mostly mindless and boring as hell. also in personal life he is not a good human being. he cheated both raveena and shilpa who were blindly in love with him. and also they were not chalu actresses. but still he cheated both. at least he should have married one of them. but somewhere from no where he chose Kaka’s daughter, don’t know how they fell in love or so. but in short he chose her only because she is from rich family and superstar’s daughter. and even after that he was in link up with priyanka chopra. all these facts proves that he is not good human being in offscreen as well. he only goes for looks of the actresses and not for the talent. and that’s why I don’t watch his movies at all.
Akki we don’t want ur 4 craps in a single year we just want frm u to do a single mvi in a year but with quality of cinema like Aamir’s mvi plz be like him

Doing 3 or 4 movies is not good for an actor if he is looking for a good film. How people will remember him by means of his films. Doing such masala type comedy movies he will never consider as a serious Actor. If he is only looking for money, he can do such crap 4 or 5 times a year.
SRK and Aamir do one film a year not because they don’t get films.they are selective in choosing film.
Akshay has proven that he is a good entertainer, now time to show his talents in good films.
No one in Bollywood can be compared to his energy and enthusiasm for movies…respect you sir…keep us entertained rather than suffering when watching HNY for someone who makes 1 movie a year

I am astonished by the way he does 3-4 films a year! That takes lot of guts to do, first and after which 50%of them being flops and utter craps. No doubt, Akki is one of the actors who have time and again improved his acting and I can imagine, where he is right now after his struggle in his earlier days.
I don’t understand how producers still manage to sign him even after so many flops, probably he’s the most easy going actor today. I love him for the fact that he has no big banners, no huge support from the industry and this guy still has created a niche for himself – commendable! He is one of the most dedicated,disciplined and enthusiastic actors around. I wish he stops doing the kind of craps he’s been doing lately, and start working on 1-2 films a year, so that he could come back in the game! Waiting for his period of 2007.
