Bollywood superstar Salman Khan once again took time out from his schedule to call on the Prime Minster of the country Narendra Modi.
In recent times, Salman has been quite vocal about backing Modi and his various initiatives. The actor attended the swearing-in ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan on May 26. Modi also invited Salman to participate in the ‘Swacch Bharat Abhiyan’, to which Khan responded by posting pictures of him sweeping the streets of Karjat.
Not too long ago, the actor tweeted “I once again thank Narendra Modi for taking up the Swachh Bharat initiative and nominating me. I nominate the following for Swachh Bharat campaign and request them to further nominate 9 more people. First, I nominate my fans on Facebook and followers on Twitter. Each one of us can make a difference. And I nominate Aamir Khan, Azim Premji, Chanda Kochhar, Omar Abdullah, Pradeep Dhoot, Rajat Sharma, Rajinikanth & Vineet Jain.”
PM Modi’s human-chain idea was said to be inspired from Salman’s first release of 2014 Jai Ho, where he promoted helping 3 people in return of a favour.
