Housefull 3 has performed fairly well yet again on Day 5 (Tuesday) at the box office. Some single-screen centres have witnessed bigger than expected drops, which could also be because of the Ramzan factor coming into play.
But overall, the business of film remained solid. The film has collected around 7 – 7.25 crore, as per early estimates on Tuesday night. The average drop at the centres we tracked was 14% from Monday.
The hold seems to be slightly better than ‘Welcome Back’ on the same day last year – although we’d have to wait for the official figures for the confirmation.
Housefull 3 has collected Rs 68-69 crore in 5 days and should get close to the 80 crore mark by the end of its first week. The Akshay Kumar starrer will beat films like Baaghi, Kapoor & Sons and Neerja on Wednesday. It should also go on to become the 2nd highest grosser of the year in its second weekend, which would also mean Akshay films will take the Top 2 spots in the first half of 2016.
Will Housefull 3 beat the collections of the previous film Housefull 2? Does it have any chance of outgrossing Airlift? These questions will be answered in the second weekend.

The biggest bakwas of this year Shivaay is still left for release so keep calm and don’t try to show that u all jealous for outstanding collections of Housefull 3 in just 5 days
If any other actor releases his movie in non holiday period he will be sitting on street begging. One is already sitting and you know who it is.

People usually forget that films are not made for critics but for the audience and HF3 proves it.
FAN was praised by alot of critics but ended up being dissapproved by audience,another example is BAAGHI alot of critics bashed it but the audience loved it.
@Ajay We need more movies like Rascals himmatwala and AJ which can compete with Hollywood in terms of storytelling and comedy.

If this crapfull 3 crosses 100 crores at the BO that’s more than enough for our floppy kumar , people should understand that floppy clown ki aukaat nahi hei 150+ crores BB dene ki………even deepika can do 4 movies a year and can still give 90+ crore hits ………so what’s the big deal in doing 4 movies a year (out of which only 1 would be good/above average & the rest of them being absolute craps) and giving huge losses to producers & distributors while filling ur own pockets……..
His pathetic fans crying that he bcoz he does 4 movies a year & doesn’t release movies during major festivals his movies are not becoming hits but who is stopping ur floppy from doing 1 or 2 good movies a year and releasing them during major festivals rather so that they bcom BBs rather than doing movies like a rat reproducing babies in haste…..
Even if he releases all his movies on major festivals there is no guarantee that atleast one of them will earn 200+ crores , even if he releases a movie once in 4 years or 10 years with 365 holidays still there is no guarantee …..infact I can say with some guarantee that floppy would never ever have a 200+ crore grosser to his name till he retires (Robot 2 could cross 200 crores but it will ……I repeat again it will never ever be bcos of floppy , it would ONLY & ONLY be bcoz of Rajni kanth, shankar , a r rahman& special effects…….even if Vijay razz or tushaar kapoor is in the place of floppy the movie would still earn as much as it could …..having floppy or not wouldn’t make any major difference to this movie ………down in south people don’t even give a shit to floppy Kumar and it’s the harsh reality for floppy fans)…… in just few lines I want to say “akki fans apni aukaat mei raho, don’t forget ur aukaat”

The film was excellent. It was full of humour and there was never a dull moment. I cannot believe that it is the same film that some of the commentators, for their comments were undeserving. I believe that many of the films that are commented on, was done so in the hope that it will flop at the Box office….so that their favorite actors’ productions would enjoy a bigger box office return. I am looking forward to see Sultan, not that I am a Salman Khan fan, but I want to compare it with FAN, WHICH WAS A TOP CLASS FILM.
This film is suprisingly perfoming very well i think it will surpass Airlift lifrtime collection.
