Housefull 3 has taken a good start at the domestic box office, even though multiplex business at cities was below par for a big franchise film. It’s the second best opening of the year after Shah Rukh Khan’s FAN, which released on a partial holiday.
Single-screens opened well in the morning, both due to the presence of Akshay Kumar and the popularity of the previous ‘Housefull’ films. The average opening at single-screens was around 50-55%.
Multiplexes were lower at around the 30-35% mark, which is good for morning shows. No other film except FAN has taken a good initial on Friday morning at multiplexes this year and they do show growth towards the end of the day.

Housefull 3 recorded the third best opening of the year in terms of all India occupancy in the morning shows. Below are the top five openings of the year.
1. Fan – 42.5% (3400 Screens)
2. Baaghi – 37.5% (2700 Screens)
3. Housefull 3 – 32.5% (3600 Screens)
4. Airlift – 27.5% (2000 Screens)
5. Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3 – 25% (2100 screens)
Fan was released on a partial holiday and remains the top opening of the year. Its opening day collections will be more or less equal to global bhagoda’s content rich holiday release billu2..

I seem that opening will be under 18 cr..this is not good sign for the movie…
It will be difficult to cover cost ..which has spend ..in this movie…!! Verdict :- avg..hardly hit if movie recover cost production..!!
Anyway …i saw this movie ..! First half is avg ..and second half is waste of time and money totally awful movie..!! But ..acc. to me …akshay sir has done great job ..so if u want to go ..so u can go for only akshay sir..!! :)

Akki has no stardom……Every time He disappoints his fans…….WB with John did 14 cr on Day One and This Movie with Akki is doing the same….Disappointed…. Akki movies can never collect huge he has no stardom only 2007 was lucky for an average star

Nice Entertaining Movie… I was disappointed with the Trailer but Movie is much much better…
General Public’s reactions are positive and Housefull 3 will rock…
Makers should have added couple of scenes of confusion in Father’s identity when kids call Papa and 2 people react… (those who have watched it really will understand)… It would have added to fun element in Trailer also…

Oh wait guys! We’re just talking about morning shows. In that aspect Fan obviously leads coz it had a partial holiday advantage whereas here that’s not the case. Moreover Fan trailer and songs had met with extreme positive reaction. So let’s wait for the day to end.

How can akkians compare it with fan, It had compt from The JUNGLE BOOK that made 8cr that day, morever not many institutions were closed, fan had no hit prequels, poorly promoted in TV, no heroine, no ingredients, no supporting cast
