Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty is Akshay Kumar’s 3rd film in the 100 crore club after Housefull 2 and Rowdy Rathore. The A.R. Murugadoss film passed the 100 crore mark on Saturday and has now collected around 103.5 crore in 17 days since its release.
Holiday should go on to be Akshay’s second highest grosser ahead of Housefull 2, but should fall well short of his highest grosser Rowdy Rathore.

Cogratulation and thanks Murugados for saving Akshay career and Akki fans face from total embarrassment. This would be Akshay 3rd film to cross 100 crs and second scene to scene South copy paste. I Hope Akshay kumar would watch some recent south blockbuster, remake it and make all Akki fans proud. I hope Kick do brilliant business and inspire Salman to do more recent South Remakes and make all Salman fans proud too. Poor SRK, Aamir and Hrithik are busy reading scripts while Clever actors like Salman and Akshay would be busy watching South films.

Kalyug(2005)(emraan,kunal) – controversial subject, critically well received. Good response at bo. Collected 11 cr at bo and was declared hit. Woh lamhe(shiney,kangna) – had good songs , average reviews and average grosser at bo. Awarapan (emraan hashmi)(2007) – had huge critical acclaim all over the world. Released with ap ka surroor and deol’s apne. So due to competition, could collect only 15 cr at bo and was declared flop. Movie was hugely appreciated from acrooss the borders and had many re-runs in usa and pakistan. Movie over the time has got a cult classic status. Undoubtedly, his best work. Crook(emraan,neha) – bad story,screenplay and bad direction. Was critical and commercial failure . Suri’s worst work. Had chartbuster songs though. Collected 18 cr at bo. Murder 2 (2011)(emraan hashmi,jackline) – opened to thunderous response at bo. Released on about 1100 screens . Collected around 55 cr at bo. Faced stiff competion with singham,chillar party at bo. Got the best work out of the leads. Was declared a blockbuster at bo. Had good songs too. Ashiqui 2 (2013)(aditya,shradha kapoor) got good response from audience after getting -ve reviews. Music helped the film. Collected 75 cr at bo and declred blockbuster.
Gangster was not a mohit suri film . It was anurag basu film.

If agneepath n bang bang are remakes,so are ghajini,devdas,don also. But you said about hrithik only. Yeah,k3 was somewhat inspired from a few hollywood movies. But what about d3 ? ?was it nt copied? ?
