Story : Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge is about an unwanted guest (played by Paresh Rawal) who enters the household of a married couple (Devgan and Konkana) and lives for a long duration by continuously extending his stay. So much so, that the couple is exasperated and starts praying for his exit.

Our take : Looks very interesting, with a very talented starcast. Ashwani Dhir last directed One Two Three, a comedy, which didn’t do too well at the box office.

  • i watched trailer of this movie which looks very good and intresting, script is also intresting and funny. i think movie will start with some funny jokes and then after 30 min Paresh will enter and non stop comedy start. one thing which i am thinking that second half will very slow , becuase Ajay n Konkina were trying to send him back but Paresh wont. and same scenes and same situations.
may be i am wrong it is just my idea after watching of trailer.

  • I agree with u indicine. The concept looks interesting indeed. and the choice of actors is spot-on. Ajay’s comedy timing is getting better with every film and Konkona is a brilliant (and a very under-rated) actress. Paresh needs a solid comic role, as last year, none of his comic acts was according to the standards he has set.

It will all depend on the screenplay and dialogues. the comedy should be situational rather than verbal. and if this happens, it will be a treat to watch.

Infact there are other few comparitively low budget movies to look at in the coming months…(the trailers of these films look promising)

    1. Karthik calling Karthik
    2. Tau Baat Pakki (i dont know why but the presence of Tabu and Sharman in the trailer somehow made it seem promising)
    3. Teen Pati (although it is in striking resemblance with 21, yet seems promising)
    4. Well Done Abba

Lets c. I’m lookin forward to much more quality releases this year as compared to the last (with an interesting mix of high budget and low budget movies and a good balance of commercialism and quality content)

  • i agree wid nauman and akhlaq.

da problem i have wid dis film is da director. one two three was a bad film. i hope dis is way better. Ajay is dependable now in comedy and Paresh is class in a glass lol
