Based on our interaction with those in the trade, reports from audience and our own expectations, we will be predicting the opening day collections of all films that will release in 2015.
- First Day collections of Bollywood films will be predicted soon after the theatrical trailer (or long teaser) of a film is released.
- Predictions could be updated / changed everyday, based on the increase / decrease in buzz, response to songs, television campaign, effectiveness of marketing etc.
- The final predictions for the opening day collections will be made a day before release – after which the collections will be compared to the actual first day collections of the film.
- For films collecting less than 15 crore: 10-15% up or down will be considered to be ‘accurate prediction’
- For films collecting more than 15 crore: 8-10% up or down will be considered to be ‘accurate prediction’

i watched omg again and find it was better movie than pk. kanji bhai give more emotional touch than pk. pk is an alien so how he can feel what is right for this gola earth i mean to say problems of his earth are unavailable he just come show his way and out. pk gross more cuz of aamir and hirani and controversies but for me omg was better try.
if you want to see a better movie to understand reason of our gola’s problems watch hollywood movie the god must be crazy.
The predictions are quite low for majority of movies.Baby could collect around 14 crores on its first day.Even Dolli ki Doli is expected to collect 3-4 crores on its opening day

@ Indicine: I – Movie Review – That deserves to be posted in a Bollywood portal.
Coming out of one of those movies which adds more feather and fame to the talent’s of Kollywood (Tamil Industry). The movie is a simple love story but presented in truly the most spectacular visual theme. The movie is historical in making with each department of the movie making, excelling big way.
Story: A simple young man(Vikram) aiming to become Mr.Tamil-Nadu(state) is a big fan of a ad model(Amy Jackson) and helps her to progress in her disturbing career which is challenged by many. During this they fall in love and earn lot of enmity who inject a virus “I” in Vikram – which makes him look ugly and he takes the revenge for same..
Now talking about the cinematic experience..the film with no doubts has the best acting, best direction, best music , best screenplay, best VFX..but just falls short of becoming a Masterpiece in Indian film industry due to predictable story and run time.
Positives:
1) Vikram, world class performance – he truly deserves National Award.
2) Shankar, comes out with another splendid act – almost getting everything right.
3) Amy Jackson – It might be her life changing performance, she is the meat of the film.
4) A R Rahman – Easily his best album in last decade.
5) Every role, scene, song falls in place at right time.
Negatives:
1) Predictable story & run time will be disappointing for those who look at this factors as a criteria. But the movie deserves a story and run time like this.
2) Almost all shankar’s movie are expected to have some message. Thus for those who look at this factor as a criteria it might be disappointing for them as the movie does not have any message.
Overall, this movie is a Must Watch for that it is truly a visually treat to watch a romantic story in a different theme with strong performances. Rating 4.5/5..Vikram and Shankar deserve a grand salute for their bold attempt.
