Ferrari Ki Sawari Box Office Collections

After a slow start on Friday, Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s Ferrari Ki Sawari picked up on Saturday and Sunday, to end it’s first weekend with Rs 13.94 crores.

Here are the official box office collections of the film

  • Friday – 3.04 crores
  • Saturday – 4.5 crores
  • Sunday – 6.4 crores
  • Weekend Total – 13.94 crores

Here is what some of the exhibitors had to say..

  • Anant Verma, director and business head of DT Cinemas : “The film is doing extremely well in all our cinemas. Friday we had around 60 percent occupancy while Saturday-Sunday had over 80 percent occupancy”
  • Sanjay Ghai of Mukta Arts : “The film opened with 100 percent occupancy in Delhi multiplexes.”
  • Gautam Dutta COO PVR :  ”The response was slightly lukewarm on Friday but it picked up on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday we had over 70-72 percent occupancy and was much better on Sunday. We have had largely family audiences, with lots of kids”

Despite competition from Rowdy Rathore, which is still going strong all over, Ferrari Ki Sawaari did well over the first weekend.

On Monday, the film hasn’t sustained as well as it was expected to, as final collections are likely to be under 2.25 crores.
