Shah Rukh Khan’s FAN has collected Rs 4.5 crore, as per early estimates, on Day 6 at the box office. The drop is normal, because Tuesday was a partial holiday for Mahavir Jayanti. But collections are down to low levels for a film that is running on 3500 screens and plenty of shows at multiplexes.
The 6-day total of the film now stands at around 68.5 crore mark and the film should finish its first week with net box office collections of around 72 crore.
The trend is very similar to Akshay Kumar’s Brothers last year, a film that also collected Rs 52.08 crore in its first weekend and 68.22 crore by the end of 6 days. FAN has shown exactly the same trend and the collections of both films are on the same level.

Watched FAN today…. Only one in 9 AM show…. SRK was brilliant as Gaurav…. but sadly great opportunity is lost…. YRF tried to go into 2 different directions i.e. content (1st half) and masala (2nd half) but didn’t reached anywhere. On worst, as per current trend, they packaged and marketed the film as content film and lost both mass (no ground level publicity & songs) & multiplex (negative WOM) audiences.
Fan box office collection is d prove that srk need a top actress ,hit music,holiday & most imp huge promotion orelse every movie will end like fan…..hence proved

hi, all , first of all i am akshay kumar fan, not srk fan. why are people bashing srk. these are stars of bollywood working for this industry that makes india’s pride. but instead fan of each stars bashing and celebrating failure. you should all be together. when Ak’s movie is bashed by others even i feel bad so this must be the case of others also when their star movie does not do well. so stop this useless fight and be together as this industry gives work to many indian and is india’s pride. the danger and problem is coming from hollywood that is coming to take over bollywood. just think about it.

Dont forget about Movies which Salman & Aamir did. They are all Indian emotions movies like you crap fans like it. Even those actors himself never confident. our Indian stupid janta likes it.

Don’t you think if every fans start saying that of their idols flop movies it means all of them were perfect but their movies flopped because other people did not do hardwork? that’s a lame excuse pls. When you go to Ajay movie lists and see the verdict of himmatwalla or AJ you will never see “flop because of Ajay did not want to break Sajid heart ” beside the verdict nor will you see “Dhobi ghat flop because of the storyline “, “Jai ho semi hit because released on non Edx ” Brothers flop because of Sid and jittering climax at the end ” Guzarish flop because it could not meet up with its budget ” etc.. You can never see all these genuine excuse (for us that know what went wrong probably) beside the actors movie list. You only see the verdict and it’s collection that’s all bcos even the actors will because of humility not one to associate the flop to any member of his movie crew. Thats not professional!!
Why blaming Fan team excluding Srk??
1. It’s an out to out Srk solo movie
2. No main heroine or starcasts to take any blame
3. The logo of Fan when released was something new!
4. The release date was ok considering some non holiday movies scored brilliantly
5. The teaser had thousands of likes
6. The trailer was watched by 4 million viewers in 24 hours
7. The reviews were more less very positive by critics too
8. Imdb rating very high 8.4
9. Jabra song created havoc!!

So with all these stated who were those members of Team Fan that failed?? to my knowledge nobody… It’s just that the content of the movie did not go smooth with the audience despite a dedicated performance from Shah Rukh… That’s it.

Srk is losing respect for doing only crap movies and still his fans blindly support him. Anyways, i hope srk stops giving crap movies and gives masterpiece like CDI, Swadesh, K3G, etc.
