The teaser of Shah Rukh Khan’s FAN has crossed the 1 million mark in about 24 hours after its release on Youtube. The film is being promoted with the tagline “Because being a FAN isn’t simple, it’s a Religion!”
Shahrukh himself tweeted “And Hope u all ‘feel’ yourselves as I play the one who makes a star. All who make me. I am your FAN”.
In what turned out to be a marketing strategy, Yash Raj Films painted Shahrukh’s residence Mannat with messages like ‘love you SRK’ and ‘c u 15th’, and it was signed with the name ‘Gaurav’.
Gaurav is the name of Shahrukh’s fan in the film.
FAN releases in theatres on April 15, 2016.

The Teaser of Fan is interesting . It cannot be called exceptional or brilliant but it is good . After a long time SRK will play a Double Role . This will be SRK’s 1st Non Holiday movie in 6 years . The release date of Fan is IPL 2016 which means it is not releasing in Post IPL Period . This means SRK will have 2 movies in 2016 – Fan and Raees . If Raees is coming on Eid then SRK will have 3 movies in 7 months which will be a party for SRK fans . It will be great to see SRK in a content oriented movie . I always wanted Fan to release before Dilwale but let’s hope this movie is worth the wait .

I am confused about SRK after MNIK. He did one entertainer Chennai express, which watched many times is still refreshing; and Don 2; others were nothing as compared to his potentials. If this is something between 10 to 20 percent of what he can do, and what he can be offered, it will be nice treat to watch.
