The teaser of Shah Rukh Khan’s FAN has crossed the 1 million mark in about 24 hours after its release on Youtube. The film is being promoted with the tagline “Because being a FAN isn’t simple, it’s a Religion!”
Shahrukh himself tweeted “And Hope u all ‘feel’ yourselves as I play the one who makes a star. All who make me. I am your FAN”.
In what turned out to be a marketing strategy, Yash Raj Films painted Shahrukh’s residence Mannat with messages like ‘love you SRK’ and ‘c u 15th’, and it was signed with the name ‘Gaurav’.
Gaurav is the name of Shahrukh’s fan in the film.
FAN releases in theatres on April 15, 2016.

Shah Rukh Khan’s Fan teaser that released less than 48 hours ago has surpassed Salman Khan’s Sultan teaser that released over two weeks ago! Yes, SRK’s teaser got way more hits than Salman’s Sultan managed. And even before Raees and Sultan‘s clash at the box office people have gotten talking about the new race between Fan and Sultan. While Fan directed by Maneesh Sharma has about 1.9 million hits, Sultan has managed just 1.2 million hits in all these days. Both these movies are produced under the Yash Raj Films banner. Clearly, SRK has an edge over Salman at least as far as Fan is concerned.
When YRF announced that they will be releasing their Salman Khan film on the same day as SRK’s Raees, everybody got talking. While we’ve witnessed Salman SRK box office war a couple of times and Shah Rukh has managed to tower over the Bajrangi Bhaijaan hero, it seems like the YouTube hits war is out in the open for the very first time.
