Sultan is not only setting records at the box office, but the level of advance booking for Sunday is once again – unprecedented. A record number of tickets have already been sold in advance and the total collections from advance sales for Sunday is said to be around 13-15 crore.
This is the sort of advance booking that major event films get for their entire weekend, prior to release.
It’s difficult to predict or analyse where the film can go from here, because the trend has been unlike any other film in the last few years.
If Sultan can touch or cross the 45 crore mark on Sunday, then there are chances of Monday holding up above the 20 crore mark – which would give the film a very good chance of becoming the highest grosser of all time.

It feels great to see a film finally doing marvelously well at the box office. No doubt salman has proved it once again that he is strong and consistent at the box office. This year we needed a bug grosser and finally it’s there. I am expecting sultan to cross at least 280 cr. Following days will give better idea of how it holds up. Waiting for shivaay, mohenjo daro and Dangal as well. Sultan now seems a big challenge to beat for Dangal. But it’s An Aamir Khan movie so you know how it will perform. I am sure if all goes well then dangal and sultan both will cRoss 300 cr. So it will create history this year. Because we will have 2 300 cr grossers. But I think mohenjo daro should not be underestimated. 112 cr seems too low for a hrithik roshan film. I am expecting at least 130 cr in worst case.
Feel happy for Salman but I hope Anushka does movies with other small stars to prove herself because she like Kareena has given highest grossers with three Khans only. Salman is the GOAT. (Greatest of all time)

Advance booking of 5th day is more than or equal to the 1st weekend of every other release so far in Bollywood….. it’s unique bcz it already has run 4 days and those 4 days are better than any other, so it’s a record which ain’t in the reach of anyone even on 1st day it’s not reachable. WOM ain’t like BB n PK but still performing better than these, even PK n BB’s Sunday advance booking weren’t like this, interesting thing is that Sultan’s 4th day Saturday (working day) will be (may be) better than best WOM film BB n PK’s 3rd day Sunday Holiday… which is unique in itself. 4th day collection is far far better than 1st day collection of HNY n PRDP.

Sultan has created havov across India on day four with collections that are just unbelievable. It will only be known exactly in the morning but it seems possible that not only has the fillm seen the highest daily collection of its run but possible the highest single day in the history of Hindi cinema. This has happenned on the fourth day of the film and that too after three huge days. There is the Eid affect in muslim centres which last for three days so today will be last but simply put the collections are crazy.
An early estimate for the collections on Saturday are around 38-39 crore nett though as has been the case over the past few days it will be no surprise if the film goes over the 39.32 crore all time single day record of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. This is because there is difference of behavior in circuits due to Eid and what is being estimating has a bigger margin of error than normal. the total of the film in four days will be close to 145 crore nett.
It is just a shocker to see a film rise like this despite the holiday period in most places finished and another huge rise may well mean the sort of word of mouth that has not been seen probably in the last 15 years and the film could go anywhere.

Let him try fan or talaash like niche thriller and then only his standing in the industry should be judged. His idiot, classless and third class gawaar fans are flying on some random parachute just because they don’t even try to dare to remember their so called star’s aukaat without Masala scripts, big festivals and clash with other movies. Because in last decade he was badly thrashed by even the likes of ajay, akshay, fardeen, ranbeer, etc. And of course srk. So he should come out of his comfort zone and prove his so called real stardom with niche thriller like talaash and fan. Aamir and SRK according to me are the only superstars who have guts to come out of their comfort zone and do movies out and out niche thrillers like talaash, fan, mnik, tzp, etc.

srk acting in FAN was appreciated by everyone both by critics and audiences-Film depends upon great script backed by the performance-He gave his 100% performance but script wasnt good so film failed-there are many movies in which someone acted brilliantly but because of limited appeal/not good script the film failed-
Extraordinary collection of Sultan despite after weak trailer & some bad song films doing very good business all over the world . Nobody can deny that salman has biggest star of Bollywood .
