Sultan is not only setting records at the box office, but the level of advance booking for Sunday is once again – unprecedented. A record number of tickets have already been sold in advance and the total collections from advance sales for Sunday is said to be around 13-15 crore.
This is the sort of advance booking that major event films get for their entire weekend, prior to release.
It’s difficult to predict or analyse where the film can go from here, because the trend has been unlike any other film in the last few years.
If Sultan can touch or cross the 45 crore mark on Sunday, then there are chances of Monday holding up above the 20 crore mark – which would give the film a very good chance of becoming the highest grosser of all time.

It is just a surreal feeling that we are talking about the possibility of a movie touching or crossing 45 cr on the 5th day of its release. And that too a movie which has been on a historic run on the first 4 days.
But the kind of dream run Salman is having now I would not be much surprised if the movie even crosses 45 cr tomorrow. Looks tough to me but then Salman has been doing the impossible in recent times and has been raising the bar so high.
In any case I expect the movie to now cross 300 cr or may even threaten PKs collections if it holds very well on Monday. GGM does not look any serious threat and then there is only a small movie, Madaari. So it has 3 open weeks.
All in all another huge blockbuster or may even be a ATBB and congrats to all Salman fans.

The first 30-40 minutes movie the innocent/lovable sultan… Then comes the fighter to prove something in life….the arrogance at the pick of career…the self destruction and finally……..watch the movie to know more. The love story between Sultan n Arfa is highlight of the movie…so believable …”.humare yahan divorce nehin hota ladhai hoti hai.” This movie is for real India , the rustic feeling, values. This one will rewrite box office history. No upper limits. Anything possible…..might be 400cr… But one thing for sure this will Cross PK. forget about fan wars go watch this one in theater.
