Pakistani star Mahira Khan, who will be making her Bollywood debut in Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film ‘Raees’, has said it’s a dream come true to work with the superstar.
“It’s my dream come true to work with Shah Rukh Khan and I am very excited about Raees. But more than this, I am nervous too. It feels like I am under pressure to show my acting skills” Mahira said on the sidelines of the Vogue Awards on Wednesday.
She also spoke about the first scene that she had to shoot in front of Shah Rukh.
“The first scene, I thought I would be doing it smoothly, but as he (Shah Rukh) came in front of me, I forgot my lines. I will always remember that incident” she said.
Mahira is a popular face in Pakistan. She featured opposite Fawad Khan in the TV serial ’Humsafar’.
When asked if she would work in a Bollywood film with Fawad, Mahira said “I know people loved our chemistry, but we both are busy with our projects. Therefore, it’s going to be tough.”
‘Raees’ is scheduled to release in theatres on Republic Day next year.
No doubt. Almost every actresses feel the same about working with shahrukh khan. The way he treats and respects women is something which can rarely be seen by any superstar. Despite being one of the biggest megastars, he is always polite, respectfull and down to earth with every women. So there is no surprise about mahira ‘s statement. I can see with my clossed eyes and i am confident that RAEES is the comeback film for SRK.He needs to release RAEES during XMAS bcoz it is a much bigger weekend than 26th JAN.Even with a clash with DANGAL he can earn big whereas with a clash with KAABIL on a small holiday weekend,RAEES will find it hard to get the reasonable collections.
