Pakistani star Mahira Khan, who will be making her Bollywood debut in Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film ‘Raees’, has said it’s a dream come true to work with the superstar.
“It’s my dream come true to work with Shah Rukh Khan and I am very excited about Raees. But more than this, I am nervous too. It feels like I am under pressure to show my acting skills” Mahira said on the sidelines of the Vogue Awards on Wednesday.
She also spoke about the first scene that she had to shoot in front of Shah Rukh.
“The first scene, I thought I would be doing it smoothly, but as he (Shah Rukh) came in front of me, I forgot my lines. I will always remember that incident” she said.
Mahira is a popular face in Pakistan. She featured opposite Fawad Khan in the TV serial ’Humsafar’.
When asked if she would work in a Bollywood film with Fawad, Mahira said “I know people loved our chemistry, but we both are busy with our projects. Therefore, it’s going to be tough.”
‘Raees’ is scheduled to release in theatres on Republic Day next year.

One can understand her initial nervousness while working with SRK. But I am expecting a very fine performance from her.
Have heard the makers have re-confirmed Republic Day as release date so as of now the unfortunate clash with Kaabil looks to be officially on. Another recent news/rumor is that the makers will launch a second teaser in September. Definitely waiting for that one.
Just cannot wait to see SRK in a dark and powerful role like Raees. And the presence of Nawazuddin will be the perfect icing on the cake for me. Nothing more exciting for me than seeing two such very powerful performers coming together.
Raees will ensure come back of SRK in bollywood if it gets Solo release. They should book post IPL release for Raees or even Independemce weekend is good.
Clashing with Kaabil wont prove fruitful for Raees.

Srk will never give HGOTY ever. Raees and Dear Xindagi will go like FAN; 80 crore club. His last HGOTY was Om Shanti On. Even OSO couldn’t be HGOTY if Welcome wouldn’t clash with Taare Zameen Par. All HGOTY he has given is with YRF,DHARMA PRODUCTIONS, BHANSALI AND FARAH KHAN. Without these brands, he is nothing like Aamir without big franchises or Raju Papa. 2016 HGOTY is already Sultan. Dangal can max touch 295 crore mark in best case. 2017 HGOTY will be Tubelight or Dabangg3 or Salman’s next with Rajkumar Santoshi. Even YRF found Salman better actor than hakla khan. Yrf has only 2 films with Salman, and those two films were YRF highest grossing film ever!!! While Srk is giving flops with YRF too. Fan – 84 crore. Srk will destroy his career if he does movies and in return will ruin the director’s career too. That’s why YRF has chosen Salman Khan Megastar as Villain Role/Lead Role in Dhoom4.

Raees should release on 19 may 2017 post ipl period no film is scheduled on 19 may also it will have 4weeks free run till tubelight comes it also the 4th most lucrative period it is faaar better than 26 jan even solo … or Christmas 2016 clash with dangal …as Christmas is big enough for two films to perform
Even epic begging didn’t help raees to gets solo release. Seems that everybody is confident to clash with global king even Child artist mogli and small actress Vidya Balan too!

Do u know that SRK’s dad died when he was 15. His family was poor and in order to look after his mother and sister SRK had to work as a waiter in a hotel, and with remaining money he would buy his course books to study.
He worked in Barry John’s theatre, TV serials, his mom passsed away and he spent countless nights hungry on street. Do u know that mother’s pain?
