Akshay Kumar’s Entertainment has collected Rs 10 – 10.5 cr on its first day at the domestic box office, as per early estimates.
The film has under performed at multiplexes in big cities (much like the opening day of Akshay Kumar films like Boss and Holiday), but has done well in circuits like Delhi/UP and East Punjab.
Entertainment has a long way to go before it can recover its costs. The reports are good, so the film could show decent growth in business on Saturday. But unless the growth is 40% or more on Saturday, the film would still rely on its second week business.
Salman Khan’s KICK is still doing pretty well at the box office with net box office collections of around 2.25 crore. Even with the release of Entertainment, KICK is likely to collect around 8 crore in its third weekend.

Hrithik has been undermined by the Khan mafia ever since Kaho Na pyar hai shattered all records for a debut.
Some of his early good movies such as MK Fiza Yadain MPKDH MJDK were halted at the boxoffice by tremendous conspiracy by the Khans. They were worried that Hrithik will far surpass them and become the Amithab Bachan of the 21 century . They were breathing a sigh of relief after usurping the Box office of Lakshya ( one of the best movies of all time). However 2006 shellshocked them. They have gone into overdrive mode since than forbidding top production houses to work with him. To keep him down to number 4 they spent several crores to mislead people about the collections of Krish3.
Amithab Bachan may have never been made if Rajessh Khanna was as nefarious as the Khans.
This is the tragedy of Bollywood 21 century.

Krrish 3 did around 180 cr. which is still huge collection, as the movie was not very good. Anyhow, Rakesh Roshan tried to inflate the number by threating distributors and few newspaper. TOI initially gave Roshan numbers but finally they stop to give fabricated number. I guess, Rakesh and hrithik are the biggest looser here. Their huge grosser Krrish 3 never mention in any place.

Not a loony movie like Humshakals by any stretch..superb acting by Akki, Krushna and Junior the Dog…ample support given by Johny Lever as well..nice jokes..music is average except Johny Johny..Sonu Sood and Prakash Raj were good as the baddies..
Decent debut by Farhad-Sajid who haven’t gone overboard..overall a nice one time watch which will truly entertain you!!! :)
People who do not believe that the Khans have dominated Bollywood for 20 years without using underhanded tactics are delusional.
