Entertainment has dropped by around 28% from Monday, as the film collected Rs 5 crore on its first Tuesday at the box office.
The first week business is now likely to be around 56-57 crore. Recovery will be an uphill task for the film as a big film like ‘Singham Returns’ releases on approx 3700 screens this weekend.
Looking back at our pre-release box office prediction, the trend and collections of Entertainment is quite close to ‘mixed response’.

There is a local name of this type of movies in bollywood, its called Thokam Pitti. Thats why Establish Directors don’t usually want to work with Akshay. And maximum akshay give not more than 3 months for a movie including promotion.

@megha: you just cann’t blame all the movie released this year. I liked queen,HTP,dedh ishqiya,HSKD,2states etc. .although agreed that this year is n’t as good as last two years where we had dozens of good content movies in the months jan-aug.
But i’m looking forward to bombey velvet,kill dil,pk,haider. And ofcourse, bangbang! Bangbang teaser has shown how to raise the bar. Let’s see how the trailer and songs will be!

@ all the akshay haters, only akshay kumar has the guts to release his film in between two of the most awaited movies kick and singham returns, also entertainment had an offbeat concept about relation between dog and man so it is not a typical family or masala film. As far as box office collections are concerned not every film will earn 100 crores. Akshay has done variety of roles be it comedy romance action or masala. I admit that of late his choice of films has been bad, however, he will learn from his mistakes and I bet either baby or gabar will be blockbuster just like rowdy rathore.

@arjun kapoor2, you are a fool. holiday was promoted so less not like khans films, still it made more than 100 cr despite media and khan fans negativity. special 26 was an art film and it still made over 70 cr. ouatimd was definitely affected due to dirty games of srk and utv.
