Is this the end of Akshay Kumar’s golden run in Bollywood? Post 2 back – to – back disasters this is one hot topic of discussion all over. And should continue to be till the release of Kambakht Ishq later this year.
It all started in the year 2007 and continued into 2008, barring the multistar dud Tashan. Namastey London, Heyy Babyy, Bhool Bhulaiya, Welcome and Singh Is Kinng.. all mega blockbusters meant Akshay was right up there with SRK, Aamir and Hrithik. But 2009 has turned out to be quite disastrous for Akshay with Chandni Chowk To China and 8×10 Tasveer failing to even manage a face saving opening at the box-office.
But not all’ lost for the actor fondly called the Khiladi Kumar in the 90s, as the star has two mega budget flicks Kambakht Ishq and Blue to revive his career. One looks like a romantic comedy (like most Akshay films) while the other is an action adventure (like Tashan?). Can Akshay make a comeback? Or will 2009 put an end to the superstar’s dream run at the box-office?

No one deserves to be the king of bollywood except Shahrukh as No. 1 and then Hrithik as No. 2 (and that if shahrukh quit bollywood one day)
If Mr. Bachan was in their age, so I would’ve said that he must be the king, Shahrukh could be the prince as well as Hrithik.
About Akshay.. yes.. whatever u said is right.. but as he’s a hard work actor, I really hope that he’d be more clever, smart and select some good scripts for his movies.. and leave behind those Tom & Jerry cartoons which his movies are inspired from!

Yup, the entire nation was hungry for a movie, thanks to the strike….Finally, Akki comes up with a critically shit movie and it oes on to become a hit…it’s official verdict is hit…not even superhit..thanks to the opening it got….I asked many of akki’s fans and they begged me not to watch that shit movie….ANd speaking of aamir, he played a taxi driver in raja hindustani, a tourist guide in fanaa, an arts and craft teacher in taare zameen par, an entrepreneur turned maniac in ghajini, an uneducated determined villager in lagaan and a carefree young guy in dil chahta hai…..now I don’t need to explain how versatile srk is, who recently received an honorary doctorate from Bedfordhire University….unlike akki, who always plays a sex maniac in all his movies….he kissed two gals in the movie kambakkht ishq I have been told, inspite of having a wife and a child….What a role model he is for his six years old son…..akki is truly the king!!! of sex mania….and mindless shit comedy…
i m big fan of srk .and that’s not mean that other actor arent good.akki is a good actors ,we cant forget all his good movies.but this 2latest year he became over in commedy.and as proverb says ;when thing is over it goes to opposite.i think its not the end of akki but he must learn from this .and personnally i think he is good in action and also romantic movie as andaz …..and many other film .and stop this war between fans.at the end all we want is to watch a good movie from akki or srk or others actors.so please make an instructif reviews . bye
