Like we mentioned in some of our previous updates, Saturday was crucial for Ek Tha Tiger. If business remained flat, it was highly unlikely, that the film would show a huge jump in business on Sunday.
Fortunately, the multiplexes – especially at the bigger centres picked up by 10-15%, while the single-screens remained steady on the lower side. The numbers are on similar levels as Thursday. As per early estimates, Saturday business is likely to be around 15-16 crores nett – taking the 4 day total to 75-76 crores.
Coming to the all-important Sunday, the morning shows haven’t really picked up massively – which is expected, as business on Sunday’s normally picks up from noon.
The advance booking is good, but nothing compared to the mad-rush for tickets on the first day.
Update 3PM: The official collections (from Yashraj) for Saturday is Rs 16.75 crores.
Update 6:30 PM: Has picked up all over on Sunday. Most theatres had upwards of 75% occupancy for the afternoon shows. Sunday should be 20-21 crores. Outside chance of crossing 100 crores in 5 days.

Don 2 was a non holiday release so dont compare it with ETT even on this site Don2 is rated 4 out of 5 and ETT 2.5 only. Even emrann hashmi’s movies gets rated more than that.
Talk about good cinema kid and have courage to display your name. Dont copy shawn micheals. and even the real HBK knows who shahrukh is but salman can never have that much of popularity.

@Marz-3300 screens, quite a lot…so a big star, action film as a back drop will surely give u a big number…so if any big film with big star and such huge release (3300 screens), is sure to break any record…there are many films in line to create new records…..
