Like we mentioned in some of our previous updates, Saturday was crucial for Ek Tha Tiger. If business remained flat, it was highly unlikely, that the film would show a huge jump in business on Sunday.
Fortunately, the multiplexes – especially at the bigger centres picked up by 10-15%, while the single-screens remained steady on the lower side. The numbers are on similar levels as Thursday. As per early estimates, Saturday business is likely to be around 15-16 crores nett – taking the 4 day total to 75-76 crores.
Coming to the all-important Sunday, the morning shows haven’t really picked up massively – which is expected, as business on Sunday’s normally picks up from noon.
The advance booking is good, but nothing compared to the mad-rush for tickets on the first day.
Update 3PM: The official collections (from Yashraj) for Saturday is Rs 16.75 crores.
Update 6:30 PM: Has picked up all over on Sunday. Most theatres had upwards of 75% occupancy for the afternoon shows. Sunday should be 20-21 crores. Outside chance of crossing 100 crores in 5 days.

salman akela tha n akele hi rahega…tiger k jaisa…ye nhi har movie me arjun rampal ko le liya…hahaha…n ra.1 me srk se accha arjun rampal tha…isliye toh g.1 ki jageh ra.1 naam rakha…hehe…no one says nything abt srk…but abt salman always bad things…still he has d most popularity n luv of ppl…he is d most luvd actor of india

this movie itself is made with a budge of 117 cores (correct me if i am wrong). salman is my fav hero but his movies dont get repeat audience what ever happens it happens in a week. if this is the response that i feel ETT will only recover its cost but not make profits like 3I and rowdy which had much lower budgets. we need to be careful be4 calling this movie a hit even with 150 cr if it gets bcoz it has high budget cost so thats not a hit unless this movies recovers 200 cr which even salman aimed i guess
