Ek Tha Tiger is on an absolute dream run at the box-office. After a historic 5 day weekend, the film has smashed the Monday record by 6 crores. As per early estimates, collections for the Eid holiday should be around 17 crore nett.
As expected, there was a 20%-25% drop at multiplexes, but single-screen business picked-up significantly. The 6 day total is around 117 crores (official).
Tuesday (today) is a working day, so we expect a big drop. Anything over 10 crores will be huge. The first extended week should be 140 crores plus.
Update: Official figure from Yashraj Films is 20.68 crores for Monday – 6 day total is 121 crores.

The six day total for Ek Tha Tiger is 110 crore nett approx. The collections on Monday were huge at single screens especially in areas dominated by Muslim audiences while multiplexes had larger falls.
Boi corrects their figure, it’s not 16 it’s exactly 18.75, while taran & yrf official figure is 20.62. So it should be inbetween the range of 18.75-20.62, most probably around 19.5 crore. N gross net figure till 6 days is 113.75 cr. From Boi & 122.5 cr as per yrf & taran so definitely it’s somewhere close to 118 cr. guys good news is tuesday is better than Friday that is above 11.5 cr which is again highiest for any working Tuesday. Wednesday & Thursday are also going to be huge so expect nothing less than 145 cr extended 1st week. It has got open 2nd week n also joker is not looking 2 join 100 cr club so 3rd week will b also fruitful but in a lower level. So 40 cr 2nd week & 20 cr 3rd week is guaranteed. tuesday should be around 12 cr. lets go by BOI figure as it says there is huge contrast in business of single screen & muslim dominated areas compared to multiplex heavy areas. the former is up by around 5% while others are down by approx 65%. Lets assume places like lukhnow contribute 8.75 crore share of monday business i.e. 18.75 cr while places like gurgaon has 10 crore remaining share. Now if the former goes up by 5% that will take tuesday biz to 9 cr while if the rest is down to 65% that will be 3.5 crore so alltogether it will be 12.5 cr and at the worst case scenerio it should be 12 cr. and official number as well as komal nahta taran numbers are going to be bit higher as always. hence ett is sure shot winner for YRF and salman by now and there is outside chance of eclipsing 3 idiots life tim,e biz if it generates good business in its 2nd weekend as well. tnx,
