Does Karthik Calling Karthik feature Farhan Akhtar in a double role? The actor isn’t willing to reveal, just yet. ‘All I can tell you is I play a lonely introverted character down on his luck, unsure and inarticulate. Everyone takes advantage of the guy I play.’ says Farhan.
Continuing in the same breath, the director turned actor adds ‘Karthik isn’t a geek. Something happened in his childhood to make him the way he is. This guy is just an introvert.’
Will he ever work under other producers, as every film that has Farhan has acted in have been produced under his own banner ‘I’ve no issues working for any producer as long as the project and its backers are rock-solid. An actor’s worst nightmare is if his project stalls midway. With Karthik Calling Karthik for the first time my company is co-producing a film with another company called Magic Bean. Director Vijay Lalvani came to me with the offer to act and co-produce the film.’
Karthik Calling Karthik which also stars Deepika Padukone and Shefali Shah releases on February 26th 2010.
This film should be interesting.. I really like d lead pair.. They r fresh nd Farhan is a fine actor. Songs r a bonus too.
farhan and deepikas chemistry is luking awsme…bt i thnk it wil also go like a luck by chance movie..it was a gr8 movie..bt didnt click…this movie has good songs..bt as of now mnik is rock solid evrywhr..i dont thnk kck wil get enough space due to mnik..

what i feel regarding story suspense kathik c karthik that there will be no double role of karthik …
it is just his own psycholigical problem ..let him disturb and he is suffering this trilling sitution due to his personal psychological probelms ….there will no other karthik exists in film its just his …mentally disorder problem …like baapu of lage raho munaa bhai ..feel by sanjay dutt or arjun rampal of i see you .
or otherwise there is only other feel that i feel that deepikaa padukone will be in negative role …let all this situation with farhan akhtar for his simplicity .
