Producer Ritesh Sidhwani has hinted that the third film in the popular ‘Don’ series, could soon be announced. The co-founder of Excel Entertainment has posted a picture of Shah Rukh Khan as Don on his official Instagram page.
The first ‘Don’ film released in 2006, did well at the box office inspite of facing competition from ‘Jaan-e-Mann’. The second film released during the Christmas weekend in 2011 and although it did not collect as much as Christmas releases do, the film did well enough to cross the 100 crore mark.

It is funny to see some people are already dreaming of clash on Eid 2018 between Con3 and any Sallman Movie. They are already predicting 400 crs for SRK movie and 40 crs for Salman movie. These looser could not stand Sultan in last Eid and went hiding after its storm and now again came out from holes to rant the same stuff. Let SRK first get a solo release on Republic Day and Independence Day. I bet Eid 2018 will be vacant until Salman announces his movie or it may go to anyone only when Salman may not have any movie ready by then.

DON-2006 was still the best. Its a solid good entertainment despite poorly directed and poorly written like a soft hollywood B movie.
DON-2 was just an average movie. If it wasnt for SRKs over-the-top good performance. Everything in DON-2 is bad. Direction, screenplay, script, story, editing and most of all characterization.
DON-3 could become the worst of the franchise easily!. Bollywood’s inability to be creative, adventerous, pushing-the-envelope in terms of creativity and direction will be DON-3’s undoing.
Most importantly. FARHAN AKHTAR must stay far away from DON-3’s director chair. Instead, SREERAM RAGHAVAN must be recruited by Excell-Red Chillies to direct it.
DON-3 must be written as “PREQUEL” to DON-2 than “SEQUEL” to DON-2. What happen to “Naarang?” What happen to “Mac?” What happen to “original DON-1 gang?” “Is ANITA, don’s best confidant dead or got killed?” “How did don and vardhan ended up in Malaysia as only 2 survivers in DON-2”
I find DON-2 amateurish, dumb and boring. Farhan akhtar needs to grow up as a director and script writer. If he cannot , he should hire outside help to write a proper story, script and screenplay for DON-3 as “PREQUEL.” And hire either SHRIRAM RAGHAVAN (JOHNNY GADDAAR, EK HASEENA THI) or SUJOY GHOSH (KAHAANI, KAHAANI-2) to direct DON-3 properly as these two are bollywood’s best thriller directors currently working.

Srk should do dabang series or dhoom series which are more classic than don. Look at dabaang one guy hit 10 goons at a time it’s is pure classic. In dhoom 3 police drive auto ricksha on top of the roof. This is never seen before action. Loved this stuff.
SRK will be the 5th biggest star in India if he looses the clash on 26th January. The order..1)Salman 2)amir 3)HR 4)ajay 5)srk.. Don 3 may open below varun dhawan openings ie 6-7cr opening.. Then after 2-5 movies he declares that Salman is the biggest star that ever lived. SRK called himself king and is So full of himself that’s the only reason I hate him..Humility,good heart,honesty,generousity will never be found in srk.. RIP SRK hakla khan..
