Producer Sajid Nadiadwala has confirmed that his upcoming production ‘Dishoom’ will release on 29th July, adding that it wouldn’t matter to him if any other film releases on the same date.
Nadiadwala’s response comes amidst rumours over Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ moving from Eid and taking the date that’s currently with ‘Dishoom’.
The producer, who made his directorial debut with Salman Khan’s KICK, said “Dishoom is releasing on 29 July, no matter which other movie comes out on that day. Even KICK and Mujshe Shaadi Karogi released in July”
Dishoom stars Varun Dhawan, John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandes in the lead. The shoot of the film has been wrapped up.

As an SRK fan its really hurting to his movie going down. Fan is really good movie. Some may say his stardom is declining.. But even if SRK’s 100 movies flop I will still remain an SRK fan. He has entertained us enough over the years. Movies like kal ho na hoo, chak de, k3g,kkhh,ddlj,darr,veer zaara,baazigar,swades,etc can never be forgotten. Salman fans who r enjoying now do remember time will come when salman will face the same. Stardom wont continue forever. Even the great Amitabh has faced it. I still don’t think so this is end. This is the beginning of something new. For srk.. For srk fans… Our childhood was great bcoz of UR movies. #SRK_Fan_For_LIFE

So Sajid Nadiadwala has made his intentions clear with this statement . After Fan I think Raees will face a really tough time because it is almost confirmed that it will be postponed from Eid but the bigger problem is when will Raees release ? There is no space left in August as MD, Custom and A Flying Jatt are coming . In September there are MS Dhoni, BBD, Pink, Manmarziyan and Rangoon . In October we have Mirzya, Shivaay and ADHM . In December we have Befikre and Dangal . So Raees might release on Sept, Nov or Diwali and clashing with Shivaay which I think will be a really foolish decision . So tough times ahead for SRK !!!!!!!!!!!!
