Actor Dino Morea, now turned a producer, intends to make a period film and an action-thriller. He also has plans to delve into reality TV.
Dino Morea has turned a producer and he is all set to start not one but two films and has also finalised a lot of ideas to make it in to a reality show. Dino is all set to make a period film curiously titled John Mohammed Ali Master with pre-independent India as the backdrop.
Dino says, “Yes I have registered the title and it’s a large film. I have two films which are ready to go on the floors. John Mohammed Ali master is set in the pre-independence era. It has lots of facts with a little fiction. I don’t want to say anything more as my director Shameem Desai has put in a lot of hard work and research in it. It will be a very stylized film based on a fictional character but with a lot of facts about the pre-independence era thrown in.”
Dino further says, “The other film is an action-thriller and is a smaller film compared to the period film. I might take this film on the floors first. I am going to start meeting people now and hopefully they will like my subject and we will be ready to roll.”
Dino is also planning to get into reality shows for TV. He says, “I think television is a big medium and I am looking at it in a very positive way. My team is working on some concepts and we will soon be approaching the channels. Reality shows are definitely the future.”
Finally speaking about his acting career, he says, “I have Anamika, Sex on the Beach and Bhram ready. I want to be very selective about my work and want to do only the right kind of films. I want to work with certain directors and I am ready to wait for them. I might sound stupid but I understand the importance of being selective and sign the right kind of films.”
