Dilwale has collected Rs 141.58 crore in India and around Rs 150 crore from the overseas markets in 17 days after its release. The worldwide gross collections of the film is Rs 341 crore.
Like we have mentioned in some of our previous reports, Dilwale is a hugely profitable film for Shah Rukh Khan. But individual distributors have lost a huge chunk of their investment in several circuits in India, and a loss-making film in major circuits for the local distributors cannot be declared as a ‘clean-HIT’.
Dilwale is ‘All Time Blockbuster’ in the overseas markets and an ‘Average’ grosser in India. Overall verdict of Dilwale is a ‘Semi Hit’.

Awesome performance of Dilwale in Overseas surprised me where masala movies dont earn much and only movies with positive wom do well in overseas unless you have srk in it whose masala entertainers with average to bad wom also do great Business there.BB & PK had superb wom but Dilwale is managing all the success in overseas with average to bad wom.About India it disappointed big time.Actually great run of dilwale in overseas shows that there was too negativity around srk in India at release time because of intolerance comment because if movie is bad that it will fare bad even in overseas but it is ATBB in overseas and average in India.So its third time that Srk movie will end up earning more in overseas than India.His overseas following is so loyal to him.
