Dilwale, Bajirao Mastani 7th Day Box Office Collections

Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale has shown decent growth in business on its 7th day at the box office. The Thursday collections of the film is set to come in at around the 9.5 crore mark. Single screens business is rock-solid for the Rohit Shetty entertainer, but it’s at multiplexes where Bajirao Mastani has taken a decisive lead.

The Sanjay Leela Bhansali film is showing signs of outpacing Dilwale in the second weekend. While the average growth for Dilwale ranged between 5-10% at centres that we tracked, Bajirao Mastani has shown a bigger range varying from 10 – 25%.

As per early estimates, Bajirao Mastani is likely to collect around 10.5 – 11 crore.

The difference between the two films seems to be this – Dilwale is sustaining and maintaining its pace, while Bajirao Mastani is galloping, especially at multiplexes where it did not perform too well in its first weekend. It already has a major advantage in the biggest circuit i.e Mumbai, but the other circuits have also gained momentum in the last couple of days – which sets the film up well for a big weekend.

Trade sources say, the historical has every chance of getting quite close to the first weekend business. A 40 crore plus weekend is a possibility for Bajirao Mastani, more so because it has retained most of its shows from Week 1.

The first week business of Bajirao Mastani is around 86-87 crore and Dilwale will be around the 103 crore mark. The difference between the two films is around Rs 16 crore.

  • what`s success of a star.when negativity start against that one.
nowadays everyone know very well what`s behind these all? the answer is clear, first of all srk never talked against country or any person,as an Indian everyone has the right to talk when every politician loser and thief screaming and accusing each other, we are reading and watching in news papers, and TV channels i.e what they are saying.like kids these uneducated and nationalist politics destroyed our beloved country, even destroyed fun, art, cinema even Bollywood, but when srk or anyone of ppl lover saying some truth these politicians just want to find a chance and barking like dogs, 18 & 19 December days will post as Black days in India history when people were warning and stooping from cinemas, this was what never happened in any country of world, these shameless losers put dot on Indian History but we still think that we are living free .Decent Indians please wake up.don`t fight because BM& Dilwale clash, but just think for a moment that what`s the reality, and what is going behind all these, this clash or drama of Dilwale and BM will finish this time, not important who will be the winner or loser, but just think a little what is thinking the world for us,Merry Christmas to all of you,Happy New ear.

  • Its okay if dilwale doenot cross 200 crore as their is niche flim fan and commercial potboiler in raess. Fan will be critically acclaimed. Raess will be both comercially and critically acclaimed.
    Fan-150-170 crore
Raess 270-320 without clash. If clash then 60% buisness to sultan 40 to raess.
What hurt me more is bringing down the icon of country in verh bad light.

  • SRK never had been on Top in India without Yashraj and Dherma. He had to be the luckiest person to get each and every Yash Raj and Dharma production from 1995 till 2010. Once Dharma and Yashraj started making movies with other actors ( Amir and Salman) the status of Yashraj is still there but SRK has fallen big time. For example Yashraj had been casting SRK since 1995 and one time they castes Salman in 2012 and got their biggest grosser in their history. Then they had Amir and it became even bigger hit. SRK is now in a row with Akshay, Ajay, even heir him is ahead of SRK. It’s not me its SRK’s movies state that.

  • 40-45 cr dilwale and 45-50 cr Bm
New years boost add some bucks also
    Lifetime around 170cr+for both films.
340cr business from both film in India great.

  • Wondering what all the protests were about. Saw Dilwale, got it. Indian junta is tired if same old ghisa pita garbage served on a silver platter. Only respite was availibility of aspirin at the concession stands. It was selling like hot cakes. Is picture be diljala diya.

  • In an alternate Universe saw Bajirao Mastani. What a magnificent grandeur of a movie. Bahaut khub mazza aa gai. Amazing acting beautiful visuals spectacular scenes.
The Mano Amano confrontation between the sauts was spell bounding . Movie ne mastana jar diya. Aina Mahal gave us a glimpse of 18 century telepresence . I wish I could also burn the screen of my video conference when I did not like what I say. Kudos to SLB

  • How much SRK fans tries to degrade SALMAN KHAN that much fast the film gonna reduce… I pretty much sure @indicine predict goes correct for DILWALE!!!! Cry SRK Fans !!! CRY!!!

  • I m very happy for dilwale it has every chance to cross 10 crore on thursday and weekend is looking around 40 crore despite the lesser screen i m going to celebrate dilwale this crismis. Its best entertaining and family movie of the year.

  • SRK will have to be careful next time and not clash with any upcoming star! A big star is not supposed to deliver such a huge flop!

Inspite of his stardom he failed to get good movies and signed whatever is offered! May be the offers are drying up as few ppl will accept a 50 yr old as a romantic hero! He needs to do character roles and even father roles if the story is good.

  • Dilwale has got really bad reviews! I mean friends have literally warned others from watching it as they had a hard time sitting through it for 3 hrs!

  • never give up optimist attitude of indicine ..!!\ still tubthumping for the film and making readers spread the nicety..

what is so good about the film anyway??

  • Its high time that we all srk fans should support srk and stand against this hatred nd negetivity. Atleast all srk fans should watch dilwale this weekend. Salute to great man srk.

  • An Open Letter from an SRKian to the media.

Now this is enough. Dilwale underperformed I accept it but How dare you people in media said that the protests have been overhyped. You people didn’t even report the protests correctly. On this stage when media should have played its role as Professionals, the Media behaved like intellectuals. First you people overhyped the small clash and then when things except WOM went against Dilwale you started boycotting Dilwale yourself. Is this why you people praised SRK earlier? Now those so called friends of King Khan even they didn’t support SRK at this stage. Couldn’t you all used your stardom and motivated them to watch Dilwale at least once not because its SRK movie but because such a victory for those Sangh parivaar Members would motivate them to start doing such moves with your movies too.
SRK stood here alone with his army of his FANS but wars are meant to be lost if your friends back stab you.

The ground reality is that shows were running but tickets were forced to be left unsold. I watched the movie last Sunday among a lot of protest. The theater I went to watch Dilwale had to cancel many if its shows due to protest later that day. And you know there were 8 shows to be played for Dilwale but only one show was played and you know it was 3 PM but the theater went houseful because families wanted to watch it.

SRK is not a star for me he is a family member.

As a diehard SRKian I myself used my sources in areas dominated by HINDUS to know about the protests. You know what they told me. They said, “bhai lathi(rod) lekr khde hai bande theaters k bahar, counter pe. Dilwale ka ticket bikne nhi denge.” Even in big cities of Mumbai Rajasthan MP Karnataka Chhatisgarh Gujarat Haryana shows were disrupted.

  • @indicine even in these weekdays tickets aren’t allowed to be sold for Dilwale in small but MASS areas. And none of you reported that. Shame on you all media intellectuals.

  • Lol dilwale going strong…with extreme negativity spreading some Gay fans and mixed to negative word of mouth, negative reviews, protest from nonsense parties in india, clash from SLB’s dream project historicl drama….. welldone Team dilwale…

  • star wars got positive reviews
    Rotten Tomatoes 95% fress
    IMDB 8.7
    metacritic 81
grossed $765.9 million worldwide in just 2 weeks. JANAZA time for Dilwale in multiplexes

  • Hi.
Being neutral,I thought Bajirao Mastani deserves much more collection. It is a film that comes once a decade.
Go watch this film this weekend, folks, and enjoy a majestic and great cinematic experience.

  • There is something about Bajirao Mastani.

Watched it first time, Liked it.
    Second time, Loved it.
    Third time, mesmerised by it.
Planning to watch it again today.

My sincere request to everyone, pls watch BM in theatre cos this kind of cinema deserves not only to survive but thrive, if we really want Hindi film industry to produce more quality cinema else we will administered with mediocrity like Dilwale, HNY, Bodyguard, Bang Bang, Khiladi 786, Himmatwala, Mela, Besharam and many more.

Merry Christmas from an Aamir and HR fan and Hindi cinema lover.

  • Whoha Srkians there is a good news for us….
SRK. is planning for R.One sequel.
Take a look what he said.: – In a recent interview, SRK confirmed that there are plans to make a sequel to the film, if everything goes right! He had said, ”Today, technology has changed. In the last 5 years, I have learnt a lot about technology myself. So we are trying to make it bigger and better. Ra.One sequel is definitely happening. We will call it G.One this time.”

  • Those who are calling kal ka chokra ranveer defeated king Khan.
Though srk is leading domestic market and is way ahead in overseas market .
You idiots please put some strain on your dumb brain, and remember the fate of God tussi great ho VS bachna aye hasino.
Even ek do film purana launda lallu ki chadii utar di.

  • with duo respect to bajirao, dilwale still ahead of bm is a thing that only srk can do really he proves yet again he is a clash king..
