Dilwale, Bajirao Mastani 7th Day Box Office Collections

Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale has shown decent growth in business on its 7th day at the box office. The Thursday collections of the film is set to come in at around the 9.5 crore mark. Single screens business is rock-solid for the Rohit Shetty entertainer, but it’s at multiplexes where Bajirao Mastani has taken a decisive lead.

The Sanjay Leela Bhansali film is showing signs of outpacing Dilwale in the second weekend. While the average growth for Dilwale ranged between 5-10% at centres that we tracked, Bajirao Mastani has shown a bigger range varying from 10 – 25%.

As per early estimates, Bajirao Mastani is likely to collect around 10.5 – 11 crore.

The difference between the two films seems to be this – Dilwale is sustaining and maintaining its pace, while Bajirao Mastani is galloping, especially at multiplexes where it did not perform too well in its first weekend. It already has a major advantage in the biggest circuit i.e Mumbai, but the other circuits have also gained momentum in the last couple of days – which sets the film up well for a big weekend.

Trade sources say, the historical has every chance of getting quite close to the first weekend business. A 40 crore plus weekend is a possibility for Bajirao Mastani, more so because it has retained most of its shows from Week 1.

The first week business of Bajirao Mastani is around 86-87 crore and Dilwale will be around the 103 crore mark. The difference between the two films is around Rs 16 crore.

  • My #DilwaleReview ????? Romance 100% ? Action 100% ? Emotion 100% ? Comedy 100% ? a perfect family entertainer

  • So, even Kal ka chora Ranveer has beaten the so called king of clash.
So, there was a never king of clash. It was only that the better film with good casts have always won.

    Border vs Pardes
    Indian vs Asoka
    JTHJ vs SOS
    Dilwale vs BM

  • SRK deliberately quickly made dilwale to clash with BM to dent it. And he is successful in it.
For his Dilwale this will be definitely hit or super hit movie. No doubt in it.
Content wise both movies not upto the mark. 19-20 difference in both movies.

Beaware JUST ONE GREAT CONTENT SRK MOVIE WILL CHANGE THE GAME ANY TIME. NO doubt in his acting skills. Just his 15 min action in Dilwale Wowed the audience.

  • Tomorrows adv booking of bajirao in kolkata is on par with last sunday. I think it will collect minimum 15.5cr tomorrow with an outside chance of beating sunday’s figure of 18.20cr..!!

  • Watched dilwale. Extremely disappointed. Srks worst film in a long long time. Rohit tried to do a yash chopra cum abbas mustan but forgot to do a Rohit shetty. That is make an entertaining comedy film with romance thrill as subplot.

End Result- a boring clichéd romance with stupid twists and only a few comic scenes.

    My rating-1/5

    worst movie of this yr..

PRDP is sholay compared to Dilwaale

  • Anyway, wish that both Dilwale and BM cross 160 crores and beat BB in a combined business… Good for Bollywood!!

  • Just had a look at the bookings for the 3 movies..bm is leading by distance and has some soldout shows for tomorrow morning and the no. Of shows for dilwale hav come down drastically and star wars is having a decent advance..most importantly although the shows for dilwale have been reduced still the advance is not upto the mark considering the shortage of shows and holiday factor…tough times ahead for dilwale..tomorrows predictions
Bm 14-15crs,dilwale 10-11 nd star wars 5.5-6.5 looking at the current scenario..

  • Dilwale is finished now!!! To SRK fans that are comparing Jai ho which had zero production value, unknown cast, flop director with dilwale is just stupid. Dilwale had much hyped pair of Kajol and SRK, one of the most successful director, most successful youngster, favourable genre. Comparing SRK new movies with old salman movies just shows the mega stardom of Salman Khan. Salman unlike SRK doesn’t rely on multistarrer or a herione (deepika padrone) to make his film work. Salman as of right know is on league of his own and indicne has repeatedly called Salman as the number one star so stop making those stupid comparison.

  • Dilwale should give tough competition to Tevar, abcd2 DDD, Roy , Bv and Tamasha in terms of bad content…

BTW Watched PRDP. Extremely disappointed. Sallu miya’s worst film and maybe it’s his habit of doing worst films. Badjatya tried to do a yash chopra cum mohit suri but forgot to do a Badjatya. That is make an entertaining family film with romance thrill as subplot.

End Result- a boring clichéd romance with stupid twists and only a few family scenes.

    My rating-1/5

  • Both r different films and both r good film as their genre so box office collection doesn’t mean anything ….srk kajol ranveer dipika love u all ….

  • Hope Dilwale earns 150 crores. I just want to see the faces of those Bhakts who were protesting, after that. It would be a priceless moment to see them loose.
Dil se khwaish h ye meri

  • @aman. Congrats to u too Bro.
Hope against hope DILWALE to do the unthinkable in second week. With lesser shows and screens hope it maintains 8 plus CRORES. Daily. Come on DILWALE. Come on SRK ians

  • So BM still does not one to enter the single figure league?!! Saw d movie not long ago. it’s a typical Slb movie and effects were just too good……won’t call it masterclass but a very beautiful movie!!
Nb : must say Welldone to Nysa_Yug-vfx walle studios for both handling BM special effects (100%) and Dilwale special effects too(though it was joint.. Red chilles vfx studio and Ny vfxwalle studio)!!!
