Dilwale was steady at the box office on Tuesday, most centres have witnessed drops in the range of 5 – 15%. A select few centres that we tracked were about the same as Monday. As per estimates, the film has collected somewhere around 8.5 – 9 crore on Tuesday.
Bajirao Mastani was steadier, there were some centres that showed surprising growth on Tuesday and others were rock steady showing hardly any drop. The film is likely to collect around Rs 9.5 – 10 crore on Tuesday.
There isn’t much to report today, because business for both films was steady after a volatile weekend. Bajirao Mastani is leading at most multiplexes, while the occupancy of Dilwale continued to remain on the lower side. At single-screens, Dilwale has been leading all through the week.
Business is likely to remain steady tomorrow too. It will be late Thursday evening when the occupancy will begin to rise, as Friday is a holiday for Christmas. The film that takes the best advantage of the Christmas – New Year holiday, will eventually win the much-hyped box office clash.

Yeah 150 cr is acceptable now. Though still think it may exceed Twm return collection.
Bajirao Mastani.. Steady is more of the positive progression index.. So plus point.

The actual problem for Dilwale is, it is behind BM in multiplexes and leading in single screens. But most of the single screens are there with Eros and BM.
So even in single screens, Dilwale is not able to perform with full capacity , whereas its a win-win situation for BM as they are leading in multiplexes, at the same time they are blocking Dilwale too, to collect something “Significant”.’

Dilwale is the best movie of this year in my opinion.It deserves 300crs I think.Anyway if it fails,it will achieve cult status in years to come.
collection is 1 cr difference in weekdays …n from no-where indicine predict that first bm will overcome total 16 cr+ difference n then go 20 cr ahead of dilwale….also bm holding in multiplex whereas dilwale in single screen ….n star war this friday multiplex gonna divide heavily…so without looking in every aspect how can u predict so much worse indicine…and also difference is 1 cr n u talk abt trend ….dilwale is earning gud very below expectation but not totally crashed ….so indicine wht trend n aspect u looked in prediction ans it

Dilwale was a total let down. I thought old SRK (the king of romance) is back.. But seriously it was a complete let down… I felt it was Tamil movie with some romantic dialogue.. It’s high time for SRK to acknowledge his real talent as an romantic actor chasing for senoritas. I will not consider BM as a big film because of the starcast. No film is big in front of the evergreen pair of SRK and kajol.. But BM has proved all wrong. Credit goes to SLB .
Anyways, both are doing gr8 business, BM in India and Dilwale in overseas. So congratulations to both the team.
