The response to the Dhoom 3 teaser has been outstanding. Every trade pundit and industry insider that we have spoken to, is confident that the film will take a earth-shattering start at the box office. What’s more, the 1 and a half minute long teaser trailer has also crossed the 3 million mark on Youtube in less than 48 hours (Second fastest after the theatrical trailer of Krrish 3).
Which brings us to the trailer of Hrithik Roshan’s Dhoom 2 which was received equally well when it released more than 7 years ago in 2006. Back then, Hrithik was riding high on the super-success of Krrish. He followed it up with Dhoom 2 which was an even bigger success at the box office.
Dhoom 2 – Dhoom 3
Coincidentally, the third part in both the Krrish and Dhoom series release in the same year. Will history repeat itself? Will the two films be the Top 2 biggest grossers of the year? Only time will tell as Shahrukh Khan’s Chennai Express has set the bar high for the Diwali and Christmas releases!
Coming back to Dhoom 3, its Aamir Khan who plays the super-cool-thief this time around. Expectations are high, as the Dhoom series is known for its iconic villains – John impressed one and all as Kabir in Dhoom and Hrithik was easily the best thing in Dhoom 2. Can Aamir Khan, who is widely believed to be one of the best actors in the industry, do better? He has one of the most popular leading ladies in the industry, Katrina Kaif, for company.

By the way srk fans would vote for trailer of deshdroshi instead of Dhoom 3.

Now can you compare the boss teaser with rowdy rathore’s trailer? Both have same feelings,same kinda action?
Dhoom3 is having much more there aamir’s gymnast act which weren’t in dhoom2, parkour stunts,they have not even given you glimpse of songs,Dhoom 2 trailer had everything,bipasha’s unnecessary bikini shot was also there while this teaser gives you nothing just to leave you wanting more! It has achieved what was meant to be!
And the above poll doesn’t matter coz this site is dominated by srk fans=aamir haters!

Anybody here claiming writing saying about dhoom2 is better than dhoom 3 and aamir is no match to John and hrithik should bear in mind in previous dhooms abhishek and uday were matchable to anti heroes and in dhoom 3 aamir being in there megastar of Bollywood has match in Bollywood sex appeal don’t matter dhoom 3 = 300cr
those who praising Dhoom 2 , please go and watch it again.
it had no logic in it’s robbery scenes and had a stupid plot, if it wasn’t for hrithik roshan film would have sunk at the box office.
And having said that till date none of indian spy movies aren’t smart except for D-Day.
And this time also we can’t expect anything smart or intelligent from yash raj films. now it all depends on aamir.
will all due respect to Mr.Aamir Khan i love his movies but thr is something like miscast. No doubt he’s a great Actor but this Dhoom role is unlike just acting that doesnt mean you dont have to act look What Hrithik Roshan did he was born to play that role. He didnt have many lines in the movie But hey look what it did way back in 2006 Dhoom 2 was on fire. N comparin these 2 Trailers i have to Say D2 was much much better D3 looks compy of D2 n remebr guys the Directr isnt same . So letc C what happens . but lets face it guys after Hrithik any one for us in Dhoom will be Like a miscast only. Id Say get Sanjay gadhvi n hrithik back for dhoom 4 n they will make yashraj ton on money.

I’m an huge fan of srk, aamir and hrithik! This is my honest opinion on this post. It’s unfair to compare dhoom 3 and dhoom 2 as if now because it is only the teaser and not the trailer. Hrithik has set the bar very high with one of his best performances in dhoom2. Aamir is no doubt a fantastic actor, but can he do justice to the role. Undoubtably there will be comparisons between him and hrithik as soon as the trailer and the film releases. But my personal feeling is that, apart from powerful acting from aamir and the rest if the crew, dhoom3 would require a better story and screenplay to be the highest grosser of all time. It’s not at all easy to go past the lifetime collections of chennai express and 3idiots(worldwide). Requires huge repeat value. And remember, this is a film with huge expectations. So even if the film is good but not great, the public talk would come out as average. So it’s important to meet the expectations. Same goes for Krissh 3. Well only time will tell which film will do better and if it will be able to beat chennai express or not!
Jealous fans of other stars are voting for dhoom 2 even though they know fully well that dhoom 3’s was a teaser and not a trailer and was still pretty awesome. Dhoom 3 is a certified highest blockbuster of all time as you will witness this december.

Guys don’t forget the extra ordinary acting of hritik Roshan his looks in the movie were extremely well and he gave un unforgettable memorable moments with aish aamir is in 50s now he can’t create a charm and that kind of energy in the movie my verdict for d3 is average because teaser didn’t impressed

aamir is one of the finest actors, no doubt bt dhoom 2 is much better than dhoom 3 because dhoom 2 was released in 2006, 7 years back from now, bollywood had negligible techonology at that time, but still hrithik stole the show and carried the film on his shoulders, dhoom means style,slickness, glamour, attitude, flawlessness which hrithik had from top to toe ! dcomparing d2 with d3 would be unfair because today techonology is so advanced, obviously d3 would feel more grander , anyways aamir must have worked hard so all the very best to him. and this is simply a imperfect article because here you r talking abt two movie trailer in which one is already released and was the biggest grosser at that time, so definitely it was like by audience and you r comparing not two trailer here you are comparing dhoom2 movie with Dhoom 3 teaser.
for me Dhoom 3 all the way not because Aamir in the movie but i love the teaser too.
Dhoom 2 liked by many but i was liked Dhoom 1 more than Dhoom 2 and i watched both dhoom in the cinema hall so my personal experience i loved Dhoom than dhoom 2.
as far as the Hrithik & John performance i liked both in their role, john coolness was killing that time and Hrithik with his charishmatic screen presence won the hearts of Many.

@hritik lover i appreciate your comments regarding me and i want to clarify you for the question you asked me regarding hr weak dialogue delievery i want to tell you that i was talking abt the role of Iconic Agneepath which was became iconic by Amitabh’s charisma though it was flopped but still classic. and i said that HR dialogue dilievery is weak as compare to Big B, i wasn’t questioning on his ability.
I want to tell you a truth i was never an HR fan or you can say i dislike him before Agneepath, because like many i was thinking that Hr is spoon feeding kid who is successful only in Rakesh Roshan’s movies because apart from JA he hasn’t a solo hit, if not count Rakesh ji movies, as Dhoom 2, ZNMD & K3G were multistarrer. but the Role of Vijay played by him change my complete thought towards him and i started to like him never before because that was called the great tribute to your legends whether its Big B, Dilip ji or any senior actor, the way he undergoes that Role & conveyed his emotions through eyes were outstanding and for that he was my choice of Best actor in 2012 in popular category and i would like to tie Irfan & Ranbir for critics choice. and during the promotions of Agneepath he clearly said that i was not copying or want to be VDC portrayed by BIG B but i make all sure that you will see a new Vijay andaudience find the same in the movie. and for the first time i m waiting for his movie and that’s K3 and i will watch first time since Dhoom 2 any HR movie in the theatre.
and i think you not read my comment on a post regarding HR or might be you forget i said that Hrithik is only actor today who has everything whcih an ideal hero should have Like Creen Presence,Looks, Eyes, Acting, perfection and his commitment towards good cinema and i forget Amazing Dance skills too. he is the Next Aamir khan to the Bollywood and for me Next Perfectioninst.

krrish 3 has better content than dhoom 3 i think krrish will collect 270 to 300 crore net in india dhoom 3 will collect 230 to 250 crore nett note:(first day collections zanjeer – 4 crore nett, zanjeer telugu version thoofan – 8 crore share = 14 crore nett so total – 18 crores nett)

@aks, dude hrithik had too many hits apart from his home production ones ! kabhi khushi kabhi gham had his contribution too, he was in top 3 superstars at that time, his craze during 2000 was unmatchable. plus dhoom 2 was blockbuster solely due to hrithik, whats the use of multistarrer ?? hrithik stole the whole show, jodhaa akbar was a clean hit, moreover its the biggest hit for any period film. znmd,agneepath are all huge at box office ! znmd worked at box office due to hrithik ‘s starpower and content ! if you take mutlistarrer into account then dhoom 3’s success credit should also go to abhishek and uday.
anyways both k3 and d3 going to be too huge !
