Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions has a strong line-up of upcoming movies scheduled to release in the next two years. 2016 will be a huge year for the banner as Karan Johar’s 6th directorial venture, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, will release in theatres after the IPL.
Arguably the biggest film of 2016, Shuddhhi, starring Salman Khan will release during Diwali. Dharma has also blocked the Christmas 2016 weekend for Ayan Mukerji’s superhero film starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.

Out of all these movies Brothers is the most exciting according to me . It is the first time Dharma is working with Akshay plus there is Sid Malhotra which looks like a solid combo . Karan Malhotra looks like a talented director . Without Hrithik, Shuddhhi does not look interesting for me . Shaandaar looks good because of Vikas Bahl . Ae Dil Hai Mushkil looks interesting but the cast looks odd with Ranbir and Aishwarya . Ranbir Kappor’s Superhero movie with Alia Bhatt and Ayan Mukherjee does not look exciting because Ranbir does not look like a Superhero . I am not all excited for Ram Lakhan because i don’t want a movie like Ram Lakhan to be remade . Dhyan Chand Biopic looks huge because i really want to know about the Hockey Legend who made Hockey India’s National Game . The Sports Day in India is celebrated in his honour – 29th August . So i am waiting for Brothers and Dhyan Chand Biopic !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

KJo bought meluha’s right about 4 yrs back but he is delaying it,making only rotten romcoms for years now..there was news of HR being casted 2-3yrs back but all these rumours have settled now.
Shuddhi is’nt a meluha remake..
Some hollywood houses have bought the rights of meluha now n they will probably make a film earlier than us which is a big shame..

Only interested in Dhyan chand biopic and Ae DIL hai mushkil.rest are average with one crapiest movie shuddhi as it consists of a bhojpuris actor who till now ruined each good movie.
Only two 1.Shuddhi and 2.Remake of warrior directed by Karan Malhotra,akki and dharma first time ever.

That’s shocking! I had no idea about this even though I keep a track of Amish. Karan should have made that movie! Its a tricky thing to decide who’ll play Lord Shiva but Hrithik was a terrific choice. Karan wasted a great opportunity. Really Disappointed :(

@navin,yeah as there is no release of salman in eid/DEEWALI from next onwards,so probably shuddhi with chase jai ho.after that salman will really beg his jobless freaks sohail joker boy and arbaaz with out buzz and will request to direct a movie with a name jail ho/criminal wanted.
I’m going to watch them all if possible!
I would also like to point out that fans should stop overestimating Brothers as it is not your regular film like Baby and could also find it hard to collect a lot of money but I have faith in the movie so we will see….
This year its Brothers and Shandaar..next year ADHM and Shuddhi..
About Dharma Production, i was disappointed with some previous failed movies of Dharma Productions.
Now Brothers and Shhuddhi these two movies are looking strong projects for Dharma Productions, Brothers release date is now very well behalf of SRK’s Fan on Independence Day so there is Akshay Kumar got a golden chance to make his highest grosser movie ever and may be it will become bcoz i saw Warrior and that was an awesome story based on MMA fighting between two Brothers, so when the reviews of Brothers will becomes to revealed then masses decide that they going to watch or not anyway best of luck for Akshay Sir.
Second since last year Dharma’s Shhuddhi is going a very controversial project with star cast first they announced Hrithik-Kareena which was tremendously fantastic couple in bollywood and peoples did not saw them since a long time but unfortunately because of Ashutosh Gawarikar’s magnum opus “Moenjo Darho” Hrithik opted out from the movie whereas my favorite Salman Bhai is also a very good choice for the movie who has been signed now with a leading lady according to some rumors Deepika, but my interest is keenly increased when i listened about Sanju Baba will play the main villain in Shhuddhi.
Wow Sanju+Salman = Dharma’s Productions Lottery.

Dharma is out of option as SRK have refused the banners 3rd movie also. Dharm didnot acknowledged all the contribution SRK had done to this banner. Yash raj have acknowledge that is SRK does movies for them even without good contents like(jab tak hain jaan). Dharma have forgetten that SRK was the one who had been pillar for them for so long.
