Delhi Belly releases tomorrow and the ‘adult’ rated Aamir Khan Production has competition from Amitabh Bachchan’s Buddha Hoga Tera Baap and the Hollywood release Transformers 3.
Now, any film that Aamir Khan lends his name to, is believed to be good by the general public. And Delhi Belly is no different, the pre-release hype is good and many are curious to know what the movie is all about given that the promos carried a lot of shock-value.
Mainly targeted at the youngsters, we expect Delhi Belly to work big-time with the male section of the audience. But will it be liked by the fairer sex? Will the family audience reject it completely? Either way, the advance booking is good and the film should easily be the biggest opener this week ahead of Buddha Hoga Tera Baap..
Still, its hard to predict the box office opening for Delhi Belly. The film is different and we are not too sure how big the opening will be. We expect Day 1 to be around 6.5 crores, just below the opening of Double Dhamaal.

If one doesn’t do evil things; it doesn’t refers to one’s inability to do so; but the unique ability to have control over the nasty side of him/her.
As far as Amir and DB is concerned; Its a desperate move to promote Imran after a series flops. Don’t you see? the publicity and Amir’s announcement make a sequel of the film right on the 4th days of DB,s release that too when the film was trailing performance wise.
In short, I had never imagine; amir would go so cheap just for success and money. we,re huge fan of this guy but
I SWEAR, I’D NEVER GO FOR AMIR/IMRAN AGAIN…..AND THAT WILL BE MY REVENGE ON HIM FOR HURTING OUR SENTIMENTS.
@Nikhil: You’re actually the shit, who are you to talk abt films and who ave you the right to call the film shit?, The film was fantastic, totally new thing for indian cinema, what was wrong with it? Is it the language? Vulgarity? Is it different from the reality of life in India? Go anywhere in India and you’ll find everyone talking that way, it was a film that pictured REALITY in a wonderful way! The producers warned evryone before the release that the film contains vulgarity and obessive language! If you cannot digest that why the hell did you watch it? What was you expecting? Some old love story full of hamming and OTT, stupidity and dancing like that of SRK? or some insane childish comdey like that of Akashy kumar? this is a film which will change Bollywood to the best!, if you cannot accept it then buy a DVD of one NRI movie of SRK(DDLJ, KKHH…), sit at home, eat popcorn and enjoy.

This movie brings a fresh air , and i must congratulate the Actors/ Directors/Producres to have pulled this movie off really well. its totally entertaining, although catering only to a select audience. This movie is totally not meant for the cheerleaders of the fake morality and values.

All those who hated the film are insecure SRK fans, look at the difference: Aamir has produced DB which is Superhit and Path breaking film, it got acclaim from audience and critics.
And SRK produced a piece of crap AKK which was a BO disaster, and got the most negative reviews from critics.
SRK fans stop crying, i feel pity for you, if Don.2 or Ra.One flop at box-office, no one will save SRK he will finish.
