Dear Zindagi was steady on its 4th day at the box office. The percentage of drop and level of business is very similar to Alia Bhatt’s last film ‘Udta Punjab’, which finished with lifetime business of 60 crore.

Anything like 75 cr or more is more than satisfactory the movie budget itself is 30 cr. so all the cost had been recoverd before release
English vinglish opened at 2 CR’s and went on to score 40 CR’s in its lifetym.so not that much great is dz’s collections inspite of srks long cameo barely it will score 15 CR’s more den English vinglish.

didn’t like the film.. boring, they only talk and talk and talk during the film, the only good thing was Alia’a performance specially in the end.. but it reminded me of her film Highway which was a way better than this film.. and the question is: why Shahrukh agreed to do this role in this film.. c’mon.. shahrukch a doctor, psychiatrist?!!! no.. he didn’t fit in this role. And English Vinglish was such a beautiful film for the director, but this one..no, sorry.
In SALAAM-E-ISHQ, Salman have only 20 minutes role in the film but film is belong to Salman Khan.

Collections would have been better if DZ was released in more than 1,200 screens. The Movie producers should have no one to blame if costs are not recovered.
