Dabangg 2 has collected approximately Rs 19.5 – 20 crore on it’s first day at the domestic box office. The film opened to an extraordinary response for the morning shows, but with Friday being a working day, afternoon and evening shows had lower occupancy.
For a non-holiday opening day, these are outstanding figures. Way ahead of the previous best first day figures of Rowdy Rathore and Don 2.
Dabangg 2 is likely to peak on Saturday night and put up record-breaking numbers on Sunday. The film will also benefit from the national holiday for Christmas on Tuesday.
We expect the first 3 day weekend to be around 67 crore nett. If the film sustains well at the box office on Monday, it’s likely to cross the 100 crore mark on Tuesday.

The Guys who said at the time of Dabangg 1 release, that this film dont have story , its a old wine in new bottle. Now the same guys are telling that the Dabangg2 dont have story like dabangg 1. Now where this story came for dabangg 1 suddenly . Mind your tongue guys.. First, try to know urslef that what u want and what u are expecting. Its understood that D1 was made for the full on entertainment and the even same holds good for D2. So stop comparing and u guys dont have any rights to compare when u guys havnt liked the first itslef. Get a life and do some other work instead coming and bangging ur heads for without reason.
