New Year special for Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone fans! The makers of Chennai Express, directed by Rohit Shetty, have released the film’s first few promotional posters.
Chennai Express is about SRK’s train journey from Mumbai to Rameshwaram (Tamilnadu). The film also marks the Bollywood debut of South actor Sathyaraj, who plays Deepika’s father.
Chennai Express reunites the Om Shanti Om on-screen pair of Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. It will also be Rohit Shetty’s first film without Ajay Devgn, after super-successful films like the Golmaal series, Singham and Bol Bachchan.
Every Chennai Express poster has the words “Ready Steady Po!”. Have a look.

@niks. U claimed Amir is also there for 20 years in industries. But his star power existed only after 2008-2009. How can srks popularity demenised? Who gave 4 consecutive 200 cr worldwide with all diff genre. Or u mean Amir’s popularity increased with talash who came after 3 idiots megha succeeds is less than SOS. @anil uprekar DIL, QSQT , RAJA HIndistusani , Rangeela were they released after 2008 ? are you blind or on weed? he started with a bang…gave DIl biggest hit of the year …gave an All time Blocbuster…Rangeela was so much appreciated that it got best story award even though it did wat less then 1/3rd of DDLJ’s business…Trimurti that time was a disaster (a multi starrer disaster)…2001 he gave Indias oscar movie Lagaan where were u dat time?? Mangal pandey broke first week collections of all movies (declared above average by srk’s filmfare magazine , Bo websites) ? seriously thats why people hate srk fans bcoz like srk u guys dont have brains !

@tejas mink release 3 years back in 1300 screen which was offbeat and did 73 cr better than wanted 61 nd veer 40 nd London dreams 30 cr. This is 2013 even mink release today will do 100 cr. with 2500 screen. He is not a king for nothing. Agree it

SRK FANS WOULD THINK OF THIS AS A MASTERMIND MOVIE…LOLS…srk only does meaningful cinema ur ans is this movie…srk never copies salman and now he is following masala genre which salman made popular…from posters anyone can swear its gonna be an unofficial south remake…well wtever..this movie is gonna be an ordinary affair like many other movies srk had from many years…and this time he even wont have a festival release…oh god cant c any future of this movie..chances of it becoming a hit are rare though i was surprised JTHJ became a hit coz of publicity earned on yash chopra’s death..majority of ppl watched it as a tribute to yash but later realized it was another crap..the big question still remains WILL SRK EVER BREAK READY’S RECORD? well he has all of his life left to do that..so srk fans cheers and hope srk wins in may be in years or decades to come and break ready’s record..it would be a festival for u guys if it happened..wont it be?
