Ken Ghosh’s Chance Pe Dance, Shahid Kapoor’s first release after Kaminey releases this weekend and the hype, curiosity around the film is strangely missing.
Having said that, Shahid, over the years has built a strong fan-base, consisting mainly of young girls and family audiences, who religiously watch his films.
The movie also stars Genelia D’Souza who wowed us with her freshness, cuteness and expressions with a refreshing performance in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na.
With the lead stars commanding a decent youth appeal, the movie is expected to open to a good response.
The box office opening of Chance Pe Dance is hard to predict, as 3 Idiots is still holding firm on most screens. Here’s our prediction anyway, tell us what you think in the comments section below.

Length is 2 hrs n 50 mins but with start n ending credit it will be 3hrs 4 mins and with 10 mins Half time…..It will be around 3 hrs 20 mins…Hope it is good..lengh of movie going to effect the number of show but i know Veer gonna rock

bro I didn’t understood what u told about length can u plz explain how
I fail to understand the reason for low publicity of CPD. As a producer, you can only afford to do so in two possibilities.
1. deep inside, the producers know that the product is not that strong and creating extra hype will raise the audience expectations which further would result in audience dissapointment.
2. the producers want to spring a pleasent surprise through delivering an above expectations product
The second possibility doesn’t seem to be the case, as all it appears to be is another tale of a struggling actor (we’ve seen so many on this topic) and untless the execution of the subject is something groundbreaking…it looks to be just an avearge fare.
An i think the producers realize this.
Anyhow, i’m going to watch it on Friday (Late night) just on the hopes to watch a one time entertaining experience. lets c if it stands upto that or not.

@Arshan : I mean running time of movie Veer is 2 hrs 50 mins and with showing name at starting and ending…it is around 3 hrs 4 mins …and if u add 10 mins half time then 3 hrs and 15 mins…..that clearly will affect the number of show in a day!!!!! But i know Salman khan damakedar performance,no one complain abt time

The headline seems too hard to believe but this might just turn out to be true. Shahrukh Khan who attended the premiere of Aamir Khan’s 3 Idiots might attend the premiere of the movie Veer which stars his sworn enemy Salman Khan. Although Salman had also attend the premiere of 3 Idiots the two warring Khans had avoided each other at the event.
Buzz up!A lot has changed in the last few days and the Shahrukh and Salman seem to be inching towards a dignified truce. Salman had extended the olive branch by calling up My Name Is Khan director and giving his feedback on the trailer of the movie staring Shahrukh. King Khan returned the gesture by saying that Veer was one movie he was eagerly waiting for.
Now as Salman Khan does the final bit of promotion for his period movie it would be a great idea to invite Shahrukh Khan for the premiere. A generous Shahrukh will definitely not like to miss a golden change to patch up with his old friends Salman again. Both the stars know how odd it becomes when the come face to face.

Looks like Bollywood’s Box office King Akshay Kumar has a great year ahead this 2010… With his upcoming including Priyadarshan’s Khatta Meetha, Sajid Nadiawala’s Housefull, Nikhil Advani’s Patiala House and Farah Khan’s Tees Maar Khan, the year seems to be quite promising for the actor.
The normally suave Akshay will be seen playing a common man in Priyadarshan’s ‘Khatta Meetha’.
According to sources, ‘Khatta Meetha’ is a satire based on the road-mafia prevalent in Bihar and parts of UP. Based on a true incident, this film unveils the charade of the common man.
‘Khatta Meetha’ is being produced by Akshay’s banner Hari Om Productions. Akki who is well renowned for his comedy as much as he is for his stunt performances seemed to be the apt person to play a comic common man much on the lines of R K Laxman’s famous character.
The star has had many ups with blockbuster films, the highest honor of a “Katana”, and of course he was the Indian Ambassador for the Olympics – Akshay Kumar till date is the only star in Bollywood to do justice to both his passions – film and sport.
