A case was filed against Salman Khan for allegedly hurting the religious sentiments of the Mumbai community.
The superstar was booked under IPC Section 295A (deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs) on the basis of a complaint lodged by one Mohammad Asim Mohammad Arif, a Mumbai city resident, police told reporters late on Thursday night.
The complaint states that Salman’s Being Human had organised a fashion show in Mumbai where a model walked down the ramp wearing a T-shirt on which a word was inscribed in Arabic. This hurt the religious sentiment of Muslim community, Arif claimed.
“We are investigating the case. The complainant has provided a video clipping of the fashion show,” a police official said.

I too watched the video. A model walked down the ramp with the Arabic word “Allah” prominently displayed at the bottom of her gown, not T-shirt.
Well, Salman can’t be held responsible for the act as he was abroad at the time and unaware of it. But he owns the NGO. So, he needs to take the actions against the responsible people and solve the issue as soon as possible. Else, it may become serious I think.
At the same time, Salman in an interview with gulfnews said SRK abs are not fake but genuine. Well, I tend to disagree. He might have said so to save the grace of SRK, his one-time-friend and a superstar of the country. If he had said ‘even no comments,’ it would have been disgraceful for SRK as he has fooled the people with so-called 10 packs abs.
Even after 12 yrs salman hsnt been jailed for probably false charges of killing humans and a black buck then hw cn he be jailed for such a silly reason?

Salman has been ridden with false cases since last decade but still he is the #1 megastar of India. He gave food and shelter to Srk during his previous years. Without Salman’s house and food Srk would be a spotboy.

This is India and there is no scarcity of publicity hungry people in this country. And the best and cheapest way to gain publicity is, to drag some celebrity into your rubbish complaints and your work is done. Even this news hungry media will be keep looking for such craps and they will publish it faster than any crime news or news of national importance.
Seriously I didn’t understand that why Salman has been dragged in between. Was he designer of that dress? Is he a CEO? Even if they have to lodge complaint, they should have interrogated someone related to production unit or marketing unit. But they would not have got this much publicity by filing complaint against any worker, so Salman khan has become a scapegoat.
Now coming to Muslim sentiments, what sentiments will be hurt if at all someone is wearing a top or bottom written some name of Allah or God on it?
I am a Hindu and during the month of Shravan , people wear a complete orange dress from top to bottom written “Om Namah Shivay” all over it as a devotion towards lord Shiva. But then I never heard of any complaint being lodged against those lacs of devotees.
This is completely ridiculous.
