We are just two weeks away from the release of one of the biggest films of 2015, Brothers, starring Akshay Kumar, Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandes in the lead.
The makers are yet to go all out to promote the film, in fact, Akshay was busy shooting for ‘Singh Is Bling’ in Cape Town till 28th July.
A 2-week marketing campaign has been planned.
The ‘Mera Naam Mary’ song hasn’t worked, but there is tremendous interest to watch ‘Brothers’ at smaller centres, especially among men. A couple of dialogue promos showing the emotional side of the film is expected to be released, which could help increase the interest among the fairer sex and urban audience.
Brothers releases in theatres on August 14, a day before Independence Day.

Brothers should be a great film. Hope it is not overhyped and overrated like Lootera. That was a boring and poor film. Lootera rating 2/5.

So according to sss, due to Nawazudin BB is collecting more than 300 cr domestically. That means, his stardom is greater than SRK. Coz, as far as i remember, srk’s highest grosser is 227 cr (Chennai Express). LOL
Anyways, hope Brothers collects more than 150 cr and turn out to be a winner. All the best

Just the other night Kjos KKHH was on Star n I felt like after watching the first half of the movie where the 35yr old uncle/ aunty (queen n kajol) were trying to look cool but bcoz of too much overacting their looked pathetic. Film was looking more like Kuch Kuch Nahin Hota but then Kjos career was saved before sinking at the start of the second half when the Saajan ji song arrived n bhai jaan lit up the screen n awoke the comatose audience. Plus Sana Saeeds chemistry with bhai was great. Farida too looked more like our Queens sister than mother. Johnny Lever looked more charming than our Queen. Anupam Khers acting for once was bearable n not torturous in comparison to Queens overacting.
